My suggestion to Raven

Since when was this conversation about your post if you weren't the OP? People are just sharing their thoughts.

 

You use the Seeker Missile against bunches of small units.
Ton of Zealots? SM them to very low health.
Mass Hydra? SM them to very low health/death.
If can be extremely devastating against Mutas since they tend to pile when they arrive at a destination. Sure, they can fly faster than the SM, but if you can sneak a Raven up you can essentially blow up that entire force.

The Seeker Missile is fine.

OK sure, in that very contrived situation (group of mutas which you happen to sneak up on without getting smoked, not to mention there probably wont be any mutas at the point in the game where you get it) its ok. But outside of that your other situations, group of zealots/hydras of which it could maybe hit about 8 why would you ever use it when you could use your energy for 2 point defense drones.

You guys are thinking extremely one dimensionally.

 

Zerg should be using Mutas all game long. It is also not very hard to have a Raven off to the side and have it come up and shoot off a Seeker Missile before the Mutas notice. Not even going to try and explain all the other reasons, since you will just shoot them down by making up the worst circumstance. They aren't supposed to work all the time, they are a high risk, high reward move.

You are the one thinking one dimensionally. There are many uses for the Seeker Missile, you just refuse to acknowledge any of them. It's beta, be creative, think up new ways to use everything, don't use something a couple times, not be able to do anything with it, and then whine that is doesn't do anything.

 

Seriously... statik is def not on the same page.
