Lol @ my post not showing which I done after Aol.

But yea it kills the uniqueness, but to me the Phoenix doesn't seem very dangerous (don't get me wrong I like the design). I also hope Blizzard work on their attack which seems less powerful than they look. But then again the Scouts attack seemed pretty weak as opposed to Wraiths and Mutalisks.

I agree that the attack does look pretty weak. The overload ability looks extremely useful though, and looks like it will be used often to gain air superiority.

I don't think it has been finalized how much damage the phoenix does. If it has, it hasn't been told to the public yet.

Too many topics on visual components of the game are on these forums and not enough gameplay/strategy/balance talk is voiced. I know the numbers on the units haven't been aired yet but we know enough from videos to at least make educated guesses.

    Phoenix:

    Hit Points: 120
    Shields: 60

    Minerals: 150
    Vespene: 100
    Build Time: 45
    Supply: 2

    Modifiers: Mechanical
    Size: Medium
    Hotkey: P

    Produced From: Stargate

Upgrades: Air Weapons, Air Armor, Plasma Shields

    Abilities: Overload

Defense: 0 (+1) Type: Light Movement: Fast
    Armament: Twin Ion Cannons

    Damage: 5 (+1)
    Attacks: 2
    Range: 4
    Speed: Normal
    Targets: Ground, Air
    Bonus: +2 Armored

The damage dissapointed me but since it shoots two lasers I'm guessing its 5+ damage each.

    Where did you find that?

I've been trying to find sites with that information, but can find any.

More like the how the reaver sounds I think.

You can see how it sounds on the sc2 colossus page.

That makes the Phoenix stronger then the Scout and Corsair zergalicious. 10 damage to ground targets is more then the old scout could do and the new overload ability means it can destroy air targets around the same or faster then corsairs. The overload ability will obviously have to be used without stupidity but since that isn't insanely hard, overload becomes crazy strong.
