My new userbar

It's very bland, I don't like the gray setting. Rather than giving your render contrast or meld with it, the background is just boring imo.

Our tastes differ then A busy background would distract from the Zealot and the site address, which form the purpose of the userbar: To put an interesting picture (Zealot in this case) and the address to where the userbar links to.

I'll try something out for the background though, thanks for the comment.

 

Oh I never said busy background, I was not criticizing the effects, or lack thereof, I was commenting on the color. The color scheme doesn't work in my opinion.

 

Well it's his first try. It's good.

 

Didn't say it wasn't a good first try either XD I said it was bland, this also extends to his avy and sig, but this isn't the place for it.

Dimensions that are normally used for User Bars are 350x19. In LT's and kuvasz's case, they used 300x20 as their dimensions.

Keep it up buddy! :good: However, you might want to take off anti-aliasing for pixel fonts.

 

320x18 is where its at.

Makes it a nice even border.

Which font?
Which size?
Which opacity?
