Dude, there's no excuse for just being downright rude. Seriously, that was harsh. Unless you can prove that you can do better than Bobekzea, your really not in the position to just say 'that's crap'. In the first few attempts the background did seem a bit distracting, but so what? It's been improved since then, the ones on page 2 are awesome. Seriously man, he's just posting them in the forum to see what people think. You could just say:
'the lighting is a bit off, and it doesn't flow that well. Have you thought about redoing the border? I like your choice of colors, they're great!"
As opposed to saying stuff like:

 

I wasn't aware that I needed to make a piece with the same render in order to criticize one. I told him what I thought which is more than a lot more people can say who posted here. I gave him advice in a blunt manner because I see no reason to doctor my words to spare someone's feelings on an online forum. I did not think I was rude, I considered my self displaying candor.

Also, the light IS skewed, and the flow makes NO SENSE. Okay, I was a little harsh on the first border. And the ones on page two, I'm all for simplicity although he should move the text a bit more towards the center.

 

I don't care what you guys think, but I think it looks great. Not just cause it's good but think about the age in this artistic talent

 

hey dudes CD is entitled to his opinions there's no need getting involved in an argument

 

The background is overpowering and draws attention away from the MS which should be the focus.

I think the mother ship should have more blasters, and something that flys around and reflects SOME attacks, sorta like the the ability of the Raven.
