For the love of God, Blizzard. Don't re-use the voice actor for the Wraith from the previous game. It sounded like Ray Romano with a plugged up nose wearing a tight mask. That bothered me to the point where I'd turn my volume down or just not use Wraiths in combat. The Firebat, too, was rather nasally, though at a far lesser degree. And I hope the Hellion isn't piloted by a total beatnik asshole, a la the Vulture.

And I'll start screeching like a Wretch and annoy the **** out of you and embarrass you guys in the hallway. You'll say, "I don't know him", but oh, do you ever.

I'm hoping the Terran maintain their Texan style accents. Unless of course the Terran are no longer Space Australians. There should also be some racial diversity, but so far, I'm seeing nothing. At least they didn't put the only black guy as the working unit this time around.

I really dont want them to keep the Drone or the Science vessel sounds.. ugh, ANNOYING

 

I think the probe says chkwarm, but yeah one of the best lines.

I also like the shield battery's line which radiates warmth and sounds like what a headache would sound like.

I've built Shield Batteries just to hear that pretty sound. The Pylon is pretty nice, and I think it's the Arbiter Tribunal that has a real funky soundbyte. Though, I did notice a few of the building in Starcraft lacked soundbytes all together. Were they added in patches later on?

Oh yes, that's Resoc. for you, Maelstrom. Not too mention all the testing performed with Stimpacks, the insertion of aggression and behaviour inhibitors.. Yuckeh.

its funny, i dont want the old game, but i want the old voices. they were like the greatest ever. i can remember eery sound fromboth sc and wcc3.
