I wouldn't mind playing the campaign again however i would hate it if they have multiple endings, i would prefer having a great ending.

Multiple endings would completely throw whatever storyline they had out of whack, thats why they stopped using them after Warcraft 2.

All I have to say about is, keep SC lore logical and not ridiculous like Post-WoW warcraft lore.

Warcraft doesn't have any lore after the events of FT, where'd you find it?
maybe some book, I'll have to look for another one

It's in WoW man. The Blood Elves who allied with Illidan in TFT are also part of the Horde, and they still go do the Raid to kill Kael. It makes no sense, the Blood Elves are an anomaly now are they Horde, Illidan, or just fucking crazy. Oh yeah, you remember how Outland was supposedly destroyed in Warcraft 2 Battle.net edition. Well Illidan went there in TFT and everything seems totally normal.

LOL, normal to how it was before??? Before it was leik, a forest place, but when the Warp Gates exploded it ripped the world apart, hence the floating rocks and barren landscape, it is very much destroyed, but that doesnt mean uninhabitable

as I said, there is no lore after FT (unless in books), period.

on topic: I'm not sure about multiple endings, if they contradict themselves they shouldn't be there. It would be nice however if there were ways to unlock additional story parts (like hidden mission in bw).
Anything to add replay value to campaign could be good. (I know sc is not about campaign but still)

Sorry i was under the impression that destroyed means uninhabitable, like i don't know, a house torn apart by an earthquake.

edit: sorry need to bring this back to on topic, ya im totally cool with bonus storytelling unlocked at the end of the campaign but not extreme differences.

Example: You are Jim Raynor. In the end, if the campaign is played in favor of the terran dominion like as your allies or whatever, as a result terran dominion becomes the ruler of the galaxy. Option 2, you are sympathetic to the zerg and in turn they successfully enslave protoss and terran DNA into the Swarm.

granted those 2 are pretty damn crazy, but I do think you get what i mean by making 2 extremely different endings would hinder the(can't think of the proper word here) authenticity? of the plot.

Ya, they are a bit crazy but still something similar would kind of make the plot less enjoyable not having the satisfaction of knowing what is really the true conclusion.

I agree no multiple Endings please.

But here are a couple of ideas I thought of. They really are no good for the SC universe but I'll share then anyways. Someone might get a laugh from them.

    1. In SC 1, the 3 campaigns came one after another in time. Like a story book. But what if in SC 2 the 3 campaigns happened at the same time. You picked either of the 3 campaigns and did them one after another but it's like talking a different side in the same period of time. And after it all there'd be a 4 th campaign that came after it all time wise.

    2. There is one ending. But it is very slightly changed depending on which route you took to the end. Same story and all but like a sun having a different colour or 5 instead of 4 zerglings in one part. Like things if you weren't in the know, you'd never know about the changes.

Like I said no good. That's why I picked no. But what I am all for is a fake ending. Where you think you've beaten the game and an ending cinematic rolls and part way through it you're suddenly thrust back into combat for another last mission.

actually a lot of games done that. I believe Red Alert 2 did that and Battle for middle earth 1 and 2. but after that multiple endings ended with no more games from the series. I miss Red Alert 2

Multiple endings destroy the lore IMO...

warcraft and warcraft2 did that, it made the story for the sequel weird. it worked better in starcraft and warcraft3 when the campaigns are linear but you can play them out of order if you want.

really? its been awhile since ive played the campaign, i dont exactly remember. Point being, it works better when the campaigns take place in a linear fashion. if there is a conclusive ending then that leaves a beggining for sc3.
