Mothership versus Zerg is a no no

as i said, its an infested ghost. kerrigan was a female ghost. nova was a female ghost. why not make the infested ghost be female. that way it would fit the name. anyways, kerrigan infested raszagal, so that shows that infested ghosts can infest.
Also, just because its infested doesnt mean it cant infest, and that you have to infest it in game. Zerglings are infests dune runners, and you dont have to infest them, so why not be the same for terran ghosts?

and to the post above mine, kerrigan kept her gender.

 

Well Incubi are creepy also, who says they can't be homosexual, thats probably where they get their kicks lol. Zerglings were assimilated into the Hive, they can be produced without infestation... they evolved into that..

Infested GENERALLY implies INFESTATION... thats all im getting at here. I wasnt saying there anret any female ghosts, I based that on my assumption that the unit had to be infested first, and can therefore infest others because it said "infested" unit. And since most of the units are male, I questioned that.

If it was a female ghost, that you could create from a larvae that would be completely stupid.. because no infestation took place, therefore its not infested at all. also making kerrigan less special...

I think that's the most I've ever seen "infest" used.

Yeah, Kerrigan kept her gender, but she seems to be a special case, along with Stukov. Free will and all that. If you look at Infested Terrans with their elephant faces, well, that's why I wonder.

 

yes, that is the most we've seen for infest, but that was done by an infested female ghost. according to wiki, succubi are infested terrans with psionic capabilities. ghosts are terrans with psionic capabilities. therefore, they can have similar powers to kerrigan. and can be female to fit the name.

 

Ghosts aren't the only ones with psionic abilites. No doubt most of people who have an ounce of psychic abilties are inducted into the "To Be Ghosts Club" but it's not specifically Ghosts, they're just trained to use them, and are augmented for that purpose.

I don't see it being "a form of Infested Terran with psionic abilities" if it's somehow to be an infested Ghost, which is done ingame. Unless there are random genders when you create Ghosts. If there is no process of infestation that why call it infested?

Pretty much if you have to infest a Ghost to make one - Does the Ghost then drop its penis and become a female, or is it just a namesake.

If you don't have to infest a Ghost to make one - How does it appear on the battlefield, if its infested that means it doesn't just pop out of a larvae.

Maybe infest a building? Or it comes out of a Zerg building and was apparently captured beforehand.

 

theres a gauge for psionic level 1-10 (10 being the highest) i think the highest normal terrans are is 2-3, and all protoss are somewhere between 4-10, and ghosts i think have to have at least a 5 to become a ghost. (Kerrigan and Nova have each have a 10) so infested terran with psionic capabilities means ghost. otherwise the terrans you get in an infested command center wouldnt just blow themselves up, that would waste their psionic potential. a 2 doesnt mean psionic capabilities, it means you can think.

When you doods are talking about succubus (female version) and the Incubus (male version) it kinda reminds me of Claymore

 

we aren't sure. they've been mentioned a few times, but in one of the Q & A's, im pretty sure karune said they were out for now.

 

I love it how people just assume this is underpowered that is overpowered etc, etc, before the game is even in internal alpha.

I'm assuming you couldn't drop a planet cracker on a Zerg rush though, since the Mothership seems to be a later game, high tier unit and a Zerg rush of course is a very early game attack strategy. So how are they gonna wipe out a Zerg rush with a Mothership if they don't have one?

Well that was a special cirumstance. The majority of people who are infested lose most of their intelligence and any powers they might have had. And raszagal was really just brainwashed not heavily mutated like kerrigan was.

 

This is very true and this makes pretty much 75% of the posts in this topic pointless.
