Most Noobish thing I've ever seen or done

Protoss player who didn't expand, at all, all game, and he was on my team -.-

LOL. Player makes a drone fly waypointed around the guys base in a circle, the other thinks he's hacking and tries to nuke the drone, ends up nuking his entire base.

 

anyways, one of the noobiest things i ever seen was pretty recent. it was late game, and i got had like 4 corsairs around his base herding his ovies. well his tech buildings were safe from ovies, so i dropped 2 dark templar and went around killing his hydra den so he couldn't get lurkers, and most of his ovies were in his expo and nat, so he plauged the area where my dts were, but it affected the spire, hydra den, pool, and his queens nest. my 2 dts die but then i drop some more and his buildings sall have like half of their hp gone and i just tear his tech, and he ggs.

Uhm, a guy who built nothing but devourers when Broodwar first came out and threw it at my base which (i regret to say, as I thought it was a GREAT strat at the time) was filled with Goliaths, then after being raped followed up and complained that I hacked because his devs werent attacking my units.

1.I played in LAN with my brother. He was Terran and I was Zerg. He was a noob. Me too, even if I had years of experiences.

I created mass of hydralisks. I massed them near to his base. He saw the. He just had enough money to create a NUKE. Well I forgot to research for the BORROW option. So .... you guess what happened ? He nuked over 20 hydras ! I didn't burrow them !

What a shame for me. :no:

2. In multi-player I played a UMS game named "phantom". I was the phantom. Normally when you are the phantom you must not show you are superior to the other players. So the frst thing I did, when I was a Zerg, was to build directly 5 lairs. So my enemies saw I was te phantom, in less than 5 minutes of game. they rushed to me and killed my silly noobly play.

 

I can't play multiplayer (pirate CD key most likely) but anyway, some noobiness I experienced.

Sending 150+ hydralisk towards a CPU protoss base and 75 of them getting pwned by.....
5 reavers.
(Heck, I still beat that base although i lost a few more to cannons)

Oh yeah, that rox. And I didn't know that spawning pool for zerg build can either be at 7 or 9 supply but standard against comp should be 7. I always got pwned by CPUs for building at 9 until my bro played and pwned the CPU.

Better still, forgetting to research burrow and then allowing my scouting zergling to be killed by enemy forces. Nice..... Although I still won.

3. Talking about my strategy to everybody in multi-player, than to my allies only. My enemies finished me first ....

 

I first started playing as terran. In one game I masses bunkers real early. After that i got like 20 ghosts to fill my bunkers. I thought they were the best infantry so why not, lol. Yeah, lets just say that game didnt go too well. i didn't even get time to builds nukes for all my ghosts...so sad.

 

I once used Optical Flare on an enemy's Observers: he thought I was hacking because my Ghosts were able to nuke his stuff from right next to the Observers.

 

Hackers, really. You have dumb players, you have new players, but theres nothing as noobish as people spending time learning to hack because they cant wint properly. They also could have spended that time trying to learn the game.

Once got attacked by ultralisks when I just finished building my first dragoon, and I'm nowhere near a pro, but I ain't THAT slow. Stupid hackers.

 

i played with my friend once on LAN and he was cheating by looking at my moniter. I still owned his ass though.

 

I would have kicked his brains out, or at least pulled out the power supply of his pc.

 

Don't be such a unsporting person. Try to be smug by owning him when he's looking at your monitor. You could then say, "noob!"

Terran (Me) vs. Zerg
I was playing someone, and I decided to nuke. He had a spore right next to my ghost, but he didn't notice it. Right when I was about to nuke, he ran all his Overlords and some Mutalisks near the nuke site and... all gone.. Easy win after that.
