    hey ackbar, what's so terrible about them.. speak out.

    i'm not surprised you have such a low power level, with random bursts like this. you even lowered other people's pl because they believed in ghosts...

    lets spawn ideas:
    missile tower
    200 hp
    cost: 150 min, 50 gas
    has a special ability named "missile rain" with wich he fires 30 missiles flying to a random enemy, each doing 20 damage, cooldown 1 minute

    Cool idea. but woudnt that wipe out all enemy air too fast, way 2 fast if u have several turrets?

    it would be cool to have a aerial defensive building that circles or patrols along a fixed circular path in the air, so it covers a wide area around the base but each particular area of the base is only defended for a short period of time.

    not really, it would only cover a larger area, but because it's constantly moving, it'll be less effective.

    maybe it slows down or stops moving when engaging enemies, that would generate a cool effect

    yeah,it would be less effective...heck, i even dare to say it would be a complete waste of resources,but that's my opinion...


    besides,the Missile Turret already spins around,and stops when attacking an enemy,so we already have all the "coolness" we can in aerial defenses...


    but a new defense tower would be really nice.

    cryogenic missile turret
    150 minerals
    100 gas
    350 hp

    15 dmg per missile
    shots two missiles at once,that can hit two different targets,or the same for double damage.upon hitting the target,it slows down,and it's attack rate is also decreased

    yeah,i know it's a rip off from the Undeads in Warcraft 3...

    i think a slowing tower fits the zergs better, make the spore colony shoot ensnare like projectiles, or even 2 at a time, like you suggested.

    the motherships cloaking field cloaks buildings now, so at least we'll see cloaked buildings :)

    BnechbReaker your first two ideas, the ariel buildings that are stationary and cant land, and the idea about missile turrets submerging and not being distinguishable from submerged supply depots.

    I LOVE IT! the rest im just meh about, but those particular ones i think would add some great new tactics to the game, especially the turret submerging. Everyone's gotta have supply depots, it would add some great ambush tactics in defence.

    Imagine if these submerged missile turrets did NOT automatically raise and attack when an enemy is in range an were indistnguable from supply depots like you suggested, you could play some great mind wars tricking people into thinkin certain areas are safe, or the other way round, you could almost push an opponent into a line of strategy to your advantage.

    also with buildings having abilities, i started a thread a while ago about the possiblities in the zerg hive.

    In all the clips, the Hive is surrounded by the swarm. Hives and swarms kinda go hand in hand in the game and in reality. So i thought it would be kewl if the zerg Hive (not the hatchery and lair) would have what i called the 'ZERG CARRIER RIP OFF' haha i think thats what the thread was called though it went quite off track...

    basically i thought there may be a way to have a similar thing to a carrier and its interceptors used in the zerg hive, a mini swarm deployed from the hive to defend it. its not a concrete idea, but the general concept is there.

    i say get rid of mech haven cuz its a waste of money to build a building just for one unit

    maybe you will get firebats with the haven if they are included? I base that guess on this;
    barracks=trains 3 units already, merc haven=only trains one unit. That would be kinda fair, since many people think that they are very similar units and should be merged. But i think we should have both, and they should be trained by the building.
