    Re: Is it possible?

Didn't the Blizz FAQ say that it's one Mothership at a time PER GAME? That would make it extra weird...because it would be like you pass it back and forth...

    Re: Is it possible?

I find it hard to believe that there is just one mothership spread out amongst all of the players in a game.
It would ruin gameplay for the Protoss, because then everyone views it as a race to get the MS first, and deny everyone else it.

    Re: Is it possible?

If it's really only one mothership per game, it would be very unbalanced. Every Protoss player should be able to get one mothership.
Maybe you'll need seveal DAs to mind control one?

I think it's one mothership per protoss player.

But heres a thought... is it possible for a mothership to get sucked into it's own black hole?

    "very dangerous to ENEMY fliers"

looks like we have a black hole that chooses sides.

and also I believe that "each player can have only one mothership" means that when your mothership dies, its done for good. You can't bring it back.

I think that you won't be able to mind control motherships. I think they will be buildings that just happen to be able to move. :D

    Re: Is it possible?

The mothership is not a floating city guys. It is more like a Battlecruiser + Arbiter.

If a Protoss player has their mothership destroyed, it would make sense that they can build another one. The sensible idea is "Each Protoss player can have a maximum of 1 mothership at any given time"

    Re: Is it possible?

I now realise that MCing a mothership is very possible. It just promotes the idea that you do not want to create a Mothership when vsing another protoss player which is already an aspect included in starcraft1. If you were in a 1v1v1 (PvPvZ or PvPvT) it may be slightly different, using a mothership wouldn't neccessarily be stupid but knowing when to use it would be important. If you're going to attack a multi of a zerg or terran player it would not be stupid to bring it along. But if you were attacking the protoss player it may be unwise to use it if you know he's using DA's.
