I didn't mention tech death didn't I? I actually like Nile, but they're not really inovating anymore.

Isn't that that christian metal band? I think I've seen them opening for Opeth once. Really crappy ;D

You didn't specifically mention Tech Death, but you said "The rest sucks like [insert filthy words]" so I assumed that you were referring to the rest of the bands I mentioned in the death paragraph.

I was reffering to ye olde death. Could have read that:
"If want good old death stay with Vader, Death, Obituary and Suffocation. The rest sucks like [insert filthy words] "

Death is the best death band..

Cynic is also a great band.. but kinda weird.. I'm talking about Cynic here because the drummer of the "human" album is the drummer on the cynic album called "focus"

Well, I'm not gonna argue about the songs, don't remember them. But live? The band sucks, they really can't play! Except for the drummer, what a waste of talent.

Extol, eh? What genre do they play?

Just for the sake of variation, what are your opinions on Maiden's new album, Megadeth's new album and expectations for Metallica's new album. Personally, being a big fan of all three, I loved the Maiden and Megadeth albums so I can only expect good from 'tallica. :)

Acyualty.. the 2 new songs that Metallica has made, called "The new song" and "the other new song" is not going to be on their new album.
The new album is going to have the same power as Master of Puppets and the sound of The Black album.
The guitars are going to be tuned up and Hetfields voice is going to sound younger. Lars Ulrich will use wooden drum sticks(wich is going to sounds bether i guess :)) and the soloes are going to be awsome and fast..

They say that this is going to be their best album in 15 years ;D

    can't wait!

Ok, I like where this is going, but I need to clarify something: Where did you hear of this stuff? Fenix, I had no idea that Metallica had anything new other than the New Song and the Other New Song. PainKiller, where did you hear all this stuff? I liked the New Song, it had a wicked breakdown and solo...

A local radio station plays almost exclusively unreleased stuff. I'm surprised they haven't gotten shut down actually. Heck, they've played leaked stuff from Chinese Democracy!

;D Yeah, that's the only site you'll ever need... ever! I sure hope that the good parts of the songs will remain in the album. And it's not really that much of a big deal, because there's an almost perfect performance of the new song live on Youtube.

Personally I haven't really been into much of their stuff since...And Justice For All. Something about Hetfields voice, it just got way too old all of a sudden. But hey this was mentioned on first post, anyone into NWOBHM? I only really got into it from Metallica's Garage Inc. album, but man Diamond Head and Budgie kick ass. Oh and Slayer's Undisputed Attitude is pretty cool, old school punk covers and whatnot

Hell yeah I'm into metal since I live in this promised land of heavy. It's funny though, I prefer older and foreign bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica and so. Master of puppets is a great album. Not too familiar with the other production. A bit tough find those albums anymore.
