Maruader is ugly and needs to lose some weight

heavyarms...the 3rd picture is just concept art. the 1st and 2nd are the ingame models. big difference.

so you're saying all ingame models look like their concept art.

also, to me, they look quite similar in design.

 

It does not apply to every unit, I'm only talking about the marauder and nothing else. And usually after many years of development, unit design changes over time, for the better. However, for the 3D marauder, to me, it still looks butt ugly compare to the original concept art.

What about some things like why it is awesome? Heavyarms did a very good job trying to show us why he thinks the maruder isnt awesome, but you are not doing anything.

Marauder looks pretty much like a Warhammer design.

i think the marauder is fine. a little ugly, but it looks right for a heavily-armored, anti-tank/vehicle infantry unit powersuit. it's like tony stark's "hulkbuster" variation of the ironman suit:

 

WTF!?!?! That suit look F***ing insane!

And I personaly like the marauder the way it is.

That's boring. IMO make the humans look semi-human but more badass. Like Master Chief. Or a marauder.

Games with human races make them look exactly like we do in real life, and in a video game, that's no fun.

 

The Marauder's model seems fine to me. After all, the massive 120Hp should really reflect the model and the purpose of the uni; heavy assault infantry. Note; do make some comparisons between the Alpha model and the older Marauder.. the latter just looks horrible.

 

I think the current model looks really cool.

 

I've liked the marauder for what it is, a heavy assault warrior (going by a "zergy" term)
They are awesome, you saw br1 , they had like 20 and they took out a base in like 1/2 a second.
And I'm pretty sure they've only been buffed since then!
