Grenades? No, they are marines, and it's will be dangerous for the same unit

I'm pretty sure they do have grenades, they're just smart enough not to use it. Grenades are only good for destroying targets in cover and other mid-sized battles. Many of the Protoss and Zerg units are melee attackers, so a grenade wouldn't really help you unless you dropped it at your feet, in which case, you're still dead.

It would be very hard to do. Grenades have an actual attack radius (whatever you want to call its) far larger than that of the actual explosion, because of the shrapnel flying around. Even with power suits, they'll need to clear at least 30 feet at the bare minimum to survive, which usually will create more problems than it will solve.

An RPG is essentially a rocket launcher, and are usually shoulder-mounted when intended for infantry use. Again, even with the power suit, it would be hard to carry both that huge gun and an RPG at once. Not to mention that swapping weapons in the middle of a fight is generally speaking a very risky thing.

This kid is hell-bent on explosives for Marines.

Why don't you just bring in a seige tank? Same difference.

yea but to actually deploy those in a combat situation. that would be something. @joneagle_x i dont want them because siege tanks in sc2 look really bad, i'll end up using them any way, but they're gonna look horrible

:stupid: i think the new siege tanks looks freaking awesome

the terrans propaganda is to get effective stuff as cheap as possible, it would prob be more effective to equip all marines with flamethrowers instead of nades

how about only 1 rpg per marine, so it becomes a one shot ability like the roman legionary who chucks one pilum at enemies before engaging in melee combat

the rpg will be no where near the power of siege tanks, i imagine it would do about 20 damage with a small blast radius
