    What does OS compatibility have to do with the map editor?

    but wasn't the WC3's height level just a visual thing and not a game mechanic? i know you could raise the height of terrain to crazy amounts (i know one UMS map that "hid" a treasure at the top of a hill that rose so high it was barely visible on-screen) but no gameplay difference from flat ground. it was just purely a visual difference.

    also, i wonder if you can change the mechanics of firing up/downhill in the editor. instead of, say, 50% miss chance, change it to 25%. or reduced damage.

    My thoughts exactly. On later revision though, I saw that it was part of your answer to SOGEKING. So nvm ;)

    Yep, you can. This was confirmed. In fact, pretty much everything in this game is data driven so this is an infinitely smaller task compared to what else you can do.
