Ward Sliver can't cross my bridge. The stronger the sliver the worse for them, having mostly cheap DD spells I usually won't have any cards on my hand, so only creatures with attack of 0 can attack me. Even with cards on hand you can't have slivers stronger than 7, but having full hand is very unlikely for such deck.

 

hmmm...and I don'y have enough direct damage spells.......yup I'm screwed.

 

for direct damage you should have a red deck

warhammer 40K has a card game? I though it was only a massive board game.
