I use a regular wired mouse, it works just fine for my uses. But its motion sensored, not the old fasioned ball roller, haven't used on of those in years.

So do I, it's got 4 buttons (on placed so that I never use it tohugh) and wheel. Everything I really need.
I didn't have much experience with wireless but I don't like the idea of having to change batteries in the middle of a game

Mine's a 2 button with wheel design. I don't see what the added bonus is with four buttons.

i use wheel-button mostly for scrolling (less tiring than turning wheel). As for fourth I only found out it goes back through pages in browser

I play RPGs (Diablo and Hellgate) and I miss my old 4 button mouse even though it was wired The extra 2 buttons wpuld allow me to not have my bldemaster die.

You know you have used your mouse too much when you have white spots where the paint is gone

wireless mouses work better for me than wired mouses, for 3 reasons:
1)i have so many wires around my desk, im always accidentally unplug something when i move my position
2)the wire always gets stuck on the back of my desk, for some random reason...
3)i set my mouses to the fastest cursor speed possible, which works well on wireless, but not well on wired.
