Should terran building be able to crush things?

  1. Tons of steel squishing things? HELL YEAH!

  4. Same as above, only it can kill small units with minor damage

that would be an awesome thing to watch, you build a nice defence, then out of the fog of war, I WALL OF BARRAKS, it would be cool if you could land them on anything, but if it is as large as an ultralisk, or are non organic, they should only take damage and the structure should be destroyed, otherwise, a wall of flying barracks versus a wall of rushing zerglings... Barracks: 'TONIGHT... WE DINE... IN HELL' ;D
zerg: "OUR ZERGLINGS WILL BLOT OUT THE CREEP"

Yet another addon that may be a cool visual is if the take off was as the topic is called, lethal. If it could at least push things back in a winds animaion, that would be cool to

it would be good in UMS but I think you would kill yourself more than the enemy with this in an actual game

I think that is a quite logical idea, Shadowdragon. After all, the Terrans has the abillity to lower their Supply Depots into the ground in StarCraft 2. Ok, a possible tactic could be to build a square of Supply Depots right outside your base. The ones that are most away from your base, is lowerd into the ground, so your enemy can walk right through it. But when they have passed them, you raise them up again and trap them inside the Supply Depots. Then you can crush them like a cracker with a Barracs or a Command Center.

No, I think a self destruct mode would make more sense. Landing buildings to crush units is a JOKE. ;)

Crash. If not completely destroying it, at least heavily damaging it and removing the lift off ability.

Perhaps smaller buildings go boom, but bigger ones don't. I can imagine the benefits of crashing your CC into an expansion

How about they make it a mode that can be switched on and off, where you can crash any building(if you want) into units only if the mode is switched on by the host

Just to see wat it is like, i played a map where i sent in twelve barracks to a base, and it scared the enemy to desath lol

logic wise? Sure. Balance wise? No effing way.

I don't like the idea of crashing them either. It just doesn't seem like it would ever be worth it, so it would be a meaningless waste of time to code.

How about... If you land on somethign... your building takes 50% damage, and no longer can lift because its thrusters were too damaged in the crash. It would absolutely make sense to be able to crush something, then the thrusters be destroyed like a jet engine with a bird. THe bird dies, along with the engine. Also... it would be cool for 300 barracks

Ohterwise, if you land in a good zone, then your base takes no damagae and can relift. It only damages when landing on something

The stationary feature would be good to do things like
    A: stop mineral gathering
B: blokcing your base from attack
C: i dont know what else, BUT there are other good sides
