    so what's the point of having 1 mil of 'waste' on 1 tile again? i'm confused.

    i think this mechanic is too cumbersome.. i don't think the player has the time to pile waste on a tile, managing his/her economy, micro-ing units, co-ordinating plan of attack and scout at the same time.

    wouldn't that intefere the rate of production? For instance, not only do scvs mine, build and defend/attack, they now have to put this 'waste' to another part of the map? So if i'm not wrong, starcraft essentially becomes 'slowcraft'...

    Like plenty of other people have said. It's tooooo cumbersome! Now you need a little more workers so that you can set a few of crap duty. I guess you would only have to have waste ifbyou had units other then workers, so later in the game you have to excreet the waste before it becomes "toxic" maybe instead of haveing workers do it you could make a unit that can excreet the waste crap stuff. So the for the terrans you would have some funky twisted virsoin of the ScV's you excreet waste and maybe they can mine half of the Normal minerals just in case you need a temperarary boost to you aconomy. And maybe so that it won't disturd game play make the cc and nexii be able to produce them separate. And the drones for the Zerg will just have a morph for free button because they would all cost 50 minerals. So maybe for the Zerg player they could have a morph thing (only for the waste morph) that morphs them in let's say 2seconds.

    I'm not completly shooting down the idea but I'm greatlyndoinh so because this would be come very cumbersome, especialy newbies just starting.

    I have a great idea! Why not make it so you actually have to feed your units food or else they will die of starvation? The food can be made and distributed from the command center. And very second that passes 1 min is taken from you economy. Doesn't that sound fantastic??@??!!!?:wacko:

    that sounds like sh*t to me. it sounds like the guy on the portal side of this site that had the video of the ZvT battle. he was like "and heres another usless mechanic that we've decided to put into the game to give players something to complain about in forums etc..."

    i agree with that with this idea, i do realize that he was messing around but it should still count.
