I always walloff as terran, and use my scans for scouting, and I rarely see Robo Facility before Stargate. Thus, they start making rays before scouting anything after my wall-in depot and barracks.

The moment I see a stargate, I get a starport with reactor add-on to get vikings and outnumber the viodrays. Before that, I usually have marines and a few tanks at the entrance, and possibly my natural.

Some of your theory talk might be right, but in a game stalkers would just outright win. There's just...I mean, Protoss can't even survive going void rays. I kill Protoss players who go pure gates or gates/robo early game. I kill Terran players who mass marauder/marine early game. And I mean sometimes I run right up their cliff and kill them. Sure they could stop me if they played better, but they are still some kind of platinum player or something and they just died while actually making available units. How would void rays even make it to mid-game against an aggressive Protoss player is a huge question. And I have played against someone who tried to get void rays against me. I killed them in under 6 minutes by simply doing what I always do...go right up their ramp and kill their army.

Well let's say somehow they don't outright die. Then it's just going to be a ton of Stalkers against a slow army of void rays. If they even glance too near an army of Stalkers they'll lose 2-4 void rays right there. It would be easy to just follow them around and keep tabs on them. Could even split up my army if I wanted to because void rays are so weak. And that's without blink.

And clearly you would be the player with the economic advantage. You didn't have to horde two gas right away, or invest in a ton of defense to survive early game, or have to take a long time to mass up enough void rays to be a potential threat. I could just take my expansion, tech blink, and still have enough stalkers to hold off the void rays. And at that point the void ray player is just lost in the eco game.

Void rays can be useful but massing them is often a bad idea. If you want to test it out and get first hand experience of what I'm saying feel free to add me. Galaxy.ein. I'm not calling you out, just offering you a game and we could do 2v2s or something too if you want.

ok, if protoss goes stalkers, I go marauders/tanks. Even with Blink, many stalkers will die before they can attack back. Also, maybe it's just because I'm in silver league, but many toss dont seem to get blink unless they go all stalker builds.

Not getting blink and charge is one of the most deadly mistakes I see toss players doing...

Even if your build isn't centered around zealots or stalkers, having those abilities makes them so much more deadlier.
