his voice sounds fine after you hear it a few times.

 

His new voice sucks why not use the old one grrr blizzard im not impressed

 

i think its actually the same voice actor. so really you cant complain to blizzard.

 

Meaning "not at all"? He really doesn't look or sound anything like him, except for when he says "Zeratul." They need to make him more round. Leave the tough guy roll to Tychus please.

He looks the way Jim Raynor, anit-Dominion mercenary, should look. If that isn't the way he looked it SC1 then its because they didn't make him look right in SC1.

Actually he looks nothing like he does in SC1, he used to have a much rounder face...

 

raynor will be the first human honored by the protoss because he will do something awesome.

He always had a southern accent and he looks exactly the same even comparing it to the artowrk in the starcraft manual. In the unit portrait, his head is just shaven.

I think the voice is alright, his voice changing is like what people are saying... he's kinda depressed, worn out, and an alcoholic, but still looks and sounds hopeful and still looking for that revenge.

And what makes it seems that Raynor is taking on that tough guy role...

 

He's not cool anymore...

Cool is one thing being a smart commander is another thing.

 

Wasn't Jim Raynor bald? (Genetically inclined to be bald)
Then why does he have cool hair now?

i thought it looked more like he was shaving his head, rather than him being actually bold.
obviously hes grown it back so that he can sneak up on kerrigan without her recognising him

 

so this isn't a case of genetic altering in the last few years?

 

Lol. If you ask me, that is the only way you can explain his transformation. He looks and sounds NOTHING like the Jimmy I remember from StarCraft. His hair changed, he isn't fat, his voice is twenty nine times deeper, he has a southern accent :upset:, and he face doesn't look at all like it did before.

 

someone in the past suggested that at the time of SC1 he was part of a (structured) military and that's why he had a buzz-cut

 

He has tattoos on his arms. Nuff said.

Either way, I have obviously been watching too much Star Trek... :

 

To many southern accents. i will admit he looks bad ass, but i miss his old voice. On another note i hope they keep some of the old voices, marines mostly.
