Hows about burrow? You can "burrow" X amount of items that you have in one transaction... it will be hidden from any view for good! (well not really) In order to get it out, you'll probably have to purchase an un-burrow, in which the place where such items are kept are returned to you? :-\

Pet Zergling. Tired and frustrated of constant thefts of items and minerals? Why not have a pet Zergling guard the fort whilst you go about your daily routine... Essentially, this will post 1 Zergling to guard your stuff, if another member attempts to steal an item using a stealing object or whatever (making sure that such an item is available for an expensive price of course), the Zergling will stop it. This may or may not effectively "use up" the Zergling as it may have several "lives"...

Item stealer or Stealing Zealot or something like that... as above, this item will enable you to steal another member's item of your choice (minus real prizes of course)... obviously would be stopped by a pet Zergling, if any.

 

Try switching it around.....A thefting 'ling and a guardian Zealot. That makes much more sense.

 

lol how about a unit that can get by the guards like a ghost just for the sake of races. since zerg and protoss have been already used.

 

some of my awesome ideas:

Carrier
get in quick as these are fading out of use only X still exist!
Infested terran
tired of other uses stealing you'r stuff? just send one of these in to blow their minerals to smithereens. destroys X minerals.

how about some extra cool sigs or avatars that are only available in the shop for $$big money$$?

they'd have to be sick though

and maybe a "sig commission," meaning you buy the right to a super special awesome sig to be made especially for you

 

people would just jack the picture.

Edit: and then if you buy a i owe you pic. people on the forums would steal it also. so basically it's just a thing where one person buys it and then everyone ends up jacking it deal

 

then they get removed from the forums...or just describe the picture and only give it to them once they buy it

you don't have to crap all over an idea just because there is a small chance it won't work Uchiha, if everyone was like that then 90% of this forum wouldn't exist

Hmmm...it's hard because it should be something that someone can't slap together by themselves using stock photos of SC available on the web...and I'm not pr0 at making avatars so I'm not sure what we could do...sigs are something easier to make unique - just look at elemenTT

I'll keep thinking of ideas though, and let you know if I come up with anything

 

I really like that "frame around members' avatars/portraits" thing 10-Neon suggested. I don't like a Protoss frame around Kerrigan, it looks wrong.

The sig thing Nikzad had could be nice too... "I gave my life for Aiur and all I got was this sig."

And who wouldn't want their very own pet zergling? "Here boy! Here zergy, zergy, zergy... Ah, that's a good boy. Hmm... You love me don't you, yes boy... Yes you do! Yes you do!!" :thumbup:

 

what about themes for you'r posts? like you start of with basic but can buy like Zerg, Protoss and terran back grounds etc.?

 

Well, for the picture things, you can throw a transparent .gif over them. It won't stop the tech-savvy, but it'll discourage casual image theft.

 

I agree. Lets not turn this into another myspace. I like the frame idea though.
