I too think it looks like a com signal, and stim packs shouldn't have that kind of a visual effect.

@ Kuvasz: Yeah! That would rock! A marine killing a zergling and going: "Take that you s.o.a.b.!" Or any other celebrating sentences. People do congratulate each other when scoring, and I clearly remember that movie 'Top Gun' the guys celebrating on the radio whenever they take down an enemy plane.

So once again: yeah! I would love to see marines bragging about a kill.

I know. That is... obvious isn't it? I still don't see any problem with me being serious on this matter: I would love to see marines bragging about killing an unit! If they make it so they have different lines for some specific enemies such as BCs, then it would be orgasmic! Some chess games did implement this, as depending of which piece you happen to use to kill another, they show a different animation. Of course I don't wanna see animations, but saying different lines should be nothing for a company who created falling debris... right?

    i lol-ed so hard.

I would like to say its a stance thing, there are a couple of marines standing with one leg in front, its a weird angle but it may be radio things while waiting.

The falling debris doesn't talk, that's why no one think it's in the way. When I play Starcraft, I hear units ALL THE TIME. Every time I select a unit, every time a unit is produced, every time I command them to do something, and every time they die. Making units say stuff every time they kill something would just be over the top.
Also, in starcraft, units die ALL THE TIME in combat. It's a real slaughter-game, if you ask me. This might have worked in warcraft3, but in SC/SC2? No. You would hear units celebrate kills more often than you hear them acknowledge orders, which already is a lot.

Those are triggered on special locations, times etc. It's not random, and they never repeat.

our marines should be bragging about every kill they get, they're marines. they need the macho bragging. it'd sound cool too.
