Is there anyone still playing SC1?

Yep. Played it the other night. AI beat me

 

I play SC every few days with some friends. We also play it for hours every time we have a LAN (which is like every friday or two). I don't believe I've put more hours into any other game, with the possible exception of WoW.

But I still suck.

 

I started to play singleplayer again once I heard about Starcraft 2, mainly cuz I cheated all the levels at first.

 

I have sc1 on my portable and I want to put it on my computer, but I don't find the cds anymore.

Is there any file where my cd keys are written? I could put them on the battle.net and install the game on my computer.

 

Well, Creep Colony has a cd-key grabber.

No idea if it works without the cd, though. Maybe it will if you have the latest patch. I never lost my key. -How do people lose it anyway? Just write it on the inside of the box.-

 

The new battle.net accounts let you register your key, so you can download and install your client on any machine, without a CD. Works for SC, War3, DII, even WoW.

I recently went back and replayed BroodWar... first time I've actually beaten the Zerg campaign without cheats. The final level is really hard, but damn me if the eighth level isn't even harder! Tough work beating those things.

The first time i played SC single player i failed at last zerg mission but after playing multiplayer i completly pwned easy that mission. And i'm still noob on multiplayer

 

i play its my favorite although sc 2 looks like the new wow, well to some people(me). starcrft will always be my #1 favorite game until sc 2 comes out then it will be my 2nd and then sc 3 (hopefully) 3rd and then sc mmo like wow (realy hope) 4th and so on. but ya i still play.

 

I usually only play with friends from another forum...never really much anymore. I've not played enough over the many years I've owned the game to be good enough to play with random people.

 

I play it often, but just skirmish for fun, building great bases. On battle net I wil be crushed.
