well it becomes a living organism so it would need a heart.

 

yeah i agree with BnechbReaker. it is needed for the structure to live. that's why if you damage the building and it begins to burn, instead of it continually burning until it explodes, it regenerates hitpoints like all other zerg structures and units. remember, every zerg structure is also living.

@ Josh But then for that the zerg structuture's don't have as much health? like eg terran command center has 2000 but doesn't reheal it self then the zerg command center what ever it is has 1700 because it doe's reheal it self?

 

its a heart, in somewhere i saw the zerg structures are living but immobile, without heart its doomed, because the zerg have not got anithing mechanical it is a living mid-mech mid-mutant (mid-mech because its technology is from the terrans and mid living because the zerg infested it)

 

Or maybe it's just the queen unit splatted on a command center and it can't take itself out cuz it's stuck?

If it's a heart, shouldn't it only take like one or two shots from ghost to take it down? Way to go for many aliens/robots to have their core parts exposed like that -.-'
