    Dynamic addressing only changes your host address. Your network address will remain the same. So for example, on a Class C network your address might be 209.213.54.x, where x can change on a day-to-day basis (depending on how long the lease setting has been configured for).

    You can have a static address, but it can be problematic if another person on your network has also set a static address that happens to be the same as yours.

    No, because DHCP keeps track of all the addresses it has issued to prevent duplication.
