The reason is that they want to find the perfect game to do commentary on, which is: lots of fighting, good use of unit abilities, and long enough to see many different units.

Also, as it will be a terran v zerg game, that knocks out any other matchups they play for testing.

It is pretty obvious that Blizzard has already got the battlereport ready and to be released. They are delaying it because Q&A 49 was just recently released. They aren't going to release the battlereport at least 3-4 weeks after Q&A 49. It's simple marketing. Blizzard has always been doing that and there really isn't nothing we could do about it.

Just look at all the past events. Why wouldn't Blizzard put in the newest build? Why would they put Blizzcon build when it is simply out of date? When you think about it, it really doesn't make sense because wouldn't Blizzard want fan's opinion of their latest build so they can receive feedback? But after you really think about it for awhile, it's really quite simple. They don't want to throw us all the info at once. By doing that, it would make people lose interest overtime. Therefore, Blizzard waits for the right time and then BAM, releases a bunch of info to create hype. Or else, they have their own event (BlizzCon) to throw us all the info to generate income. Blizzard is a company. They are here to make money. In order to do that, they have to create hype. And this is exactly what Blizzard is doing.
