Infested Terrans in Starcraft 2

I wasn't referring directly to BW,i just mean that if infested terran command centre can churn infested terrans non-stop,then it does not seem logical.

 

... Dude its a game.. you are too technical, and thats not good for gaming.

 

I hope that the infested terrans could garrison in the infetsed Command Centre and turn into an Infested Planetery Fortress.^^

 

What would they shoot with? They barely know how to blow themselves up. They would just blow up their own CC/PF from within.

 

if they take away the infested then i will only buy sc2 just to piss on it. They can't ditch such an original unit. Its too much part of the game.

 

I'm sure Blizzard would appreceate the business anyways.

 

i think it should be in starcraft 2 also i think that not only 1 infested unit you can choose but a bunch of different infested terrans you can choose.

 

Infested Terran = cool but not used

Blizz won't get rid of it completely, because it's awesome, but will change it in an interesting way that like they do.

I can't wait.

 

bio rifles? or explode when killed?, not in the original where is just splatters when killed

 

Maybe they'll cause the parasite ability to infest a unit. That would be much more useful.

 

Ok forgive me if someone said this before in this thread (I skimmed) but I feel like I've been beating this drum for months...can't they grow terrans from larvae yet? I mean, once the zerg have infested a species don't they mutate the DNA to create their own zerg version of the species?

The old infested terran had grown up as normal people and been infested (like borg) in the middle of their life, hence the armor. But by now we should have mutated zerg humans popping out of zerg eggs shouldn't we? It's completely different, and they don't need to be suicide units anymore cause the zerg can do whatever they want with the DNA. Infested humans could be the zerg's new caster, or maybe they've developed claws and exoskeletons and now they're like high-end melee units (humans are more limbre than most zerg, so it's an advantage. Zerg ninjas lol) I don't know. IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES!

That's like a marine that got infested though...I'm talking about mutated humans popping out of zerg eggs, which wouldn't be wearing marine armor or holding guns. Am I the only one who thinks the zerg should have assimilated terran DNA by now? I think we're past the Resident Evil/Borg stage now.

 

Maybe the infestated structures could be usable from zergs to make units...

I think they will be in SC2, as well as Infested Protoss, to some extent. Maybe.

 

I will call them Terralisk for human-look-alike zerg that is born from larva (if they r going to do it)^^

 

I think there will be an infested terran with a weapon of somesort and not suicide because the baneling(s) will do the suicide. Infested terran with a rifle of some sort that shoots acid bullet things insted of suicide
