Infested Seige Tank

Zerg is about massing several crappy units. Having a big, fat and not-to-mention-really-really-really-ugly Infested Tank, would totally defeat the purpose of Zerg. Go home and step off, dude...

 

I seriously about crapped myself when I saw this thread and thought that they could seriously do it(which scares me to think that they probably will be able to). Nice concept and pixels Protosscommander, the Zerg can't drive a Tank but they can pick it up and move it around. So thats a pretty realistic idea if the Master Sergeant inside was killed during the infesting process.

 

actually, if they do include something like this, I hope that they do have it as a defiler type unit. It would be awesome to have it launch abilities across the battle field. Dark swarm... uh... WAY over there! <--- it would keep it out of trouble at least.

Hit points would probably be less as the infestation would probably rot the armour.

 

That doesn't even look like a tank. More like an armored spider. When you said infested tank I was thinking siege tank driven by infested terrans maybe with some tentacles haning off

 

that would be crazy. Kinda like the goblins in warcraft that blew themselves up... only with a tank.

 

I didn't mean they would explode.  not all infested terrans have to explode as evidenced by Kerrigan and Stukov.  They didn't suicide.

I meant the infested terrans would keep driving the tank as per their standard training but the shells might be replaced bu something that fits the zerg

Wait I just though of something. Has anyone played Starcraft Flash Action. It features an infested tank that suicides

I just immediately got the goblin idea when I read about them driving the tank.

The terrans already have the siege tank so I think that if it gets infested it should actually have different mechanisms. More zerg mechanisms, I like the other person's idea of having it as a caster.

 

as long as they do not overlap the roles of lurker, its fine

 

Maybe they shoot banelings. : It is an interesting idea.

 

It will be better if the tank is destroyed it will send acid spores alike the infested terran but only when the tank dies

Well i make one lol, a kind of Thor that has been infested soon, lol, im doing it right now

 

we should leave that kind of things to archlimit
