    oohhoh! that's hella cool man, nice find! i'm kinda torn, but i still think i like the "footman" style shield, seems more swat style.

    They use both hands on the gun in the game atleast. The shield is placed on there shoulder or arm...

    Wtf? is that sure? I haven't seen them attacking with their claws and the official SC2 site sais it attacks with Needle Spines. can you show me a proof please?

    Hunter, dont trust him. Some of his other posts were crap, so I trust none of his posts. And why should it, ranged is much cooler!!

    If you saw the Campaign Mode during BlizzCon, you will see that the shielded Marine is a seperate unit, because it is called a seperate unit when it is described. The Shield unit is not always used, because they cost more.

    Are you saying that you can choose between training Marines with shields and regular Marines in the Barracks? Because that is so not true. The Shield is an upgrade just like Yamato Cannon.

    A second marine unit would be useless and the barrack already has enough untis.

    ^ why they look very different know and they have many different abilities. The newest being they can act like a moving senser tower and detect units in the fog. ghosts will be awesome scouting units.

    But back to the rines. The entire idea behind the shield was to show how that know when you upgrade some things they actually appear on your units. instead of having to check the unit for the upgrade you can just look at them.

    isn't the shield equipped on marine shoulder?Then they still hold the gauss rifle with 2 hand.
    Anyway,the shield is ok,but make is a little smaller,so it wont block you sight
