Lol, DotA is the reason I quit, I mainly played LotR type games (when you each get your civilization and use your time-spawned armies to destroy the opponent) but too many people hosted DotA and not enough of what I liked, so I quit, although I could have gone bak to normal play

All my friends play WoW and thats the problem and yes i do play WoW with them.

Yeahhhhh how do u actually make online friends that play Dota. I bet 90% are trash talkers that may even boot u for dieing once!

Alotta of times i think this game is mostly luck cuz when i play some heroes that have like a % for a spell i get it and OWN and sometimes i dont get it for like the whole game. and then I get OWNED.

MooMoo is much better than DotA. ;D

Trash talking is just natural. Players on B-net come from all walks of life. You really can't blame 'em, just have fun playing. If you can't have fun, don't play. Simple as that.

I can't say I'm anti-DotA, but I am kind of amazed that it's so popular.

I want to delete your post, soooo much.

Unfortunatly, DotA will stay with WarCraft III, someone will try to make it on StarCraft2 though, i hope they fail. :D

It's not the game by itself that is the problem. It's the insane ban lists and instant kicks that are the problem. Well, that and most people devote all their freaking time to DotA. Try some new maps for a bloody change!

I'm against DOTA simply because of the immaturity of the community.

I know children that are better composed than a lot of these people and it disgusts and saddens me. That is how I feel. It's no longer just having fun with a game or even being competitive its just ridiculous.

The only problem with DOTA is the community.
Many 16-20 year old play it, but they act like 7 years old childres...
And the 12 years players act like 3 year old players...
I once played it, But Ill never do it again...
I hope Starcraft will have a much better community...
    I hope...
And thats the only thing i have...

It would be nice if dota wasn't the only thing on battlenet, at least it seems to be the only thing on in my server.

Yeah, 2/3 of all custom maps are dota...
and half of them are for proz, which means people who say f*** and know how to pick a hero.

Yeah, but how many DotA freaks will come and try SC2? And then play DotA? And destroy the whole community....
    SC1 was!
But this is 10 years later, and already Warcraft 3 had a bad community IMO.
But perhaps the bad community is only a result of mmorpg, as WC3 is half rpg

how about blizzard implementing a frendly community in sc2...they can implement moderators just like a forum..and anyone can report to any moderator on a guy..and that moderator can punish him =]

I'm not sure about Ace but I used to play reg maps a lot, to the point of level 35 I think. Can't quite remember cause my account got deleted after the expansion came out.
