Willy you are so funny. That like many of your posts make no sense what so ever.
Really makes the forum a nice place to visit.

So I'm saying M. It's surely adult based in parts but not overtly out there and illegally offensive.

Apparently ratings, by which I mean actual ratings, are really harsh in the US, which isn't what you'd expect from the general stereotype.

If only this forum was just like...

    An entire movie.

Stars Wars length in series, Lord of the Rings length in each film.

Itza I would say thats a bit of a misunderstadning. A person really needs to understand the context of every rating to understand how harsh it really is. In the us its:

    G: Everyone
PG: Everyone but Parental Guidance (PG) is advised.
PG-13: All viewers should be atleast 13 years old as well as having Parental Guidance.
R: Restricted to people above the age of 17 or requires a parent/guardian to buy the ticket.
    NC-17: You must be 17.
XXX: This one should be obvious.

Pretty much the harshest rating you will ever see on anything for sale in any general place is R (or un-rated which is by default NC-17). But if you think about what can be in an R rated movie (which short of being pornography I'm not quite sure anything ever gets a rating worse then this because if they do they pretty much can't make any money because almost no theatre will play it) a person with decent parent is not nearly as restricted in what they can view by comparisson to some other countries (I would have to research this to be sure though).

I personally would give the forum an R rating just because of what creep up into it, but if you discount that and are looking at the actual Sc2 disscussion forums I would give it a PG or PG-13.

P.S. The above only applies to movies not television shows (which is a whole nother ball game depending on standard TV v. cable).

    We've got:

    G - All ages
PG - Parental guidance recommended for young viewers
M - 15+ unless accompanied by an adult
    MA - Restricted to 15+
    R - Restricted to 18+

The reason I said they're apparently harsher in the US is because some movies I've seen have either had stuff cut in order to prevent getting an R rating in the US when they're only M or MA over here, or have had a greater rating in the US than they do in Australia.

Most of the time it was to do with non-sexual nudity, which I've been told a couple of time gets rated harshly in the US, which I found surprising.

Lord Kerwyn, a movie can have a softcore scene and still have the R rating.

There're degrees of all the classifications. You can get things rated PG for horror. Obviously it's extremely mild and it's just to say that young viewers should be accompanied by an adult.
