I would like SC2 in November 2009

  1. That is definitely a logical assumption because I didn't link to any of the articles I was talking about but I believe that if you had seen them you would understand. Some of them are truly terrible.

Well personally think it will come in the spring/summer time also because like someone else said they have the other months to work on the Zerg/Protoss campaign. I’m pretty sure they have the terran campaign all done. But they will postpone the game until the Zerg and Protoss campaign is at least significantly finished so they can release the other 2 at shorter time periods to keep people interests high. It gives them the perfect amount of time to do that with launching each individually.

They're not done with the Terrran campaign, they started looking for a new voice actor for Raynor not that long ago. They are going to finish a lot of the Terran campaign while we're busy with the beta, is my guess.

They will not postpone Wings of Liberty due to the expansions, trust me. Keep us interested? Starcraft has managed to keep us interested for ten years and still going. You don't think SC2 can keep us interested for one?

You cant say it will keep our interest because if we finish the campaign and say the next installment isn't for 8 months to a year people will forget the storyline and or just not take interest in playing the campaign because they will feel that the multiplayer expeariance is enough for them thus they may only buy one of the expansion packs just for the new multiplayer units available and then forget about the third installment all together. If starcraft 2 cameout on a monday and they released the expansion on the tuesday and the 3rd expansion on the wednesday people would buy every single one. its all marketing and timing and best way to make huge sums of money is to time your release perfectly and market it perfectly. An example of two of the best marketing / timing "Gears of war" and "halo" they market the crap out of it and personally even over hype it then release it and break sales records like a twig. I just dont see Blizzard wanting to have to re-market SC2 expansions and spend all that extra marketing dollars they wouldn't otherwise have to if they release it at a close enough date to the original SC2 release and the games still fresh in our minds and were not off playing Diablo 3.

    Just what i think. :)

Remember that if Wings of Liberty is complete, I mean if the devs finish this first DVD that means the Protoss and the Zerg units and balances will be finished too because we will be able to play multiplayer with the Terran AND the Protoss and Zerg. So their units and their structures will have to be accomplished.

So no bug, no unbalances, etc ... etc ...

The multiplayer is far from being finished. The Terran campaign is not finished too. ...

I believe WOL will be released for November of this year. Blizzard is now speeding the finalization up, which is, according to me, the most difficult moment for the development of this game. And strategically as SC2 is waited and wanted by A LOT of persons Blizzard will blow their benefits up by releasing this game at that moment, just before Xmas !

So for me, again, SC2 will be released on November 2009. Blizzars has enough time to finalize this game and to follow our suggestions of improvements and remodelings of units etc ... until that moment.
