I think the game will be released 1 day exactly after the 24 hours to go to release date has come around.

  2. I would like StarCraft 2 to be canceled and announced as a joke in April 2009.

    then I would kill myself

  4. Me too. But, before I do that, it would be worth it to me just to see the internet **** storm that would be kicked up by this. Then, once the joy of laughing at the response is gone, I will have nothing to live for.

    *BANG!*

But that'd kill Blizz's rep. And nobody'd trust them then.

  7. But, it would be down right hilarious. You can't deny that.

Well, they haven't substantially (if at all) updated the official site in months.
I don't see it coming out any time soon.

  9. LOL @ Official Site being an indication ...

If you are to judge the completion by updates then base it on fan sites. If you look at it that way, then it's still fairly close (~1 year)

Yeh, but Blizzard officials themselves said that their efforts will be far more concentrated on D3, and that only a small group will be left to work on sc2 :p
    It makes panda sad.
And don't forget Blizzard's beautiful way of postponing release dates.
    Remember d2 >.>

  11. That was proven to be untrue (As if it wasn't obvious). Be careful of where you get your information and what you believe. Otherwise, you get problems like this.

Blizzard might as well be four companies. The lead StarCraft 2 producer said that unless one game reaches pre-beta each group is working on that franchise for the rest of their Blizzard careers unless they are exchanged when a product is finished (This is, of course, not for the people who work on all of the franchises)

So, when StarCraft 2 is finished and they take their well deserved break, they'll get right back on to another StarCraft games. The Diablo and the World Of WarCraft teams will do the same. I'm not saying they don't exchange workers, I'm saying that they don't do that often and not until a game is finished.

Even if Blizzard acted more like one company, they wouldn't cheat their franchise like that. It's just plain obvious. That rumor was shot down practically minutes after it was posted. You shuold investigate baseless, untrustworthy rumors like this so that you don't disappoint yourself unnecessarily... and spread that misinformation around.

    I apologise.

  13. No need to apologize :) I've been around the internet and I know all about the misinformation in it. It's not your fault. It's the "misinformants" fault. Just be careful what you believe. It's in your own best interests. No reason to get yourself down the in the dumps over a false rumor.

By now, they should release it around june, but mabey the multiplayer a bit earlier.
im trying to say they sell the game early, but without campagain.
The campagain comes later in an update but you need the CD key to download it.
they should do it around juneish so us starcraft fans can play it for summer.
    if not.....
i'd probably like try everything because its taking a bit too long from the original due date...
    almost 2 years
    2 FREAKING YEARS!!!!

  16. ....

  18. I'd rather wait for the campaign to be finished and put on a disc than to wait for it to download :D
