    IIRC Blizzard chose to create a new engine from scratch because the WC3 engine couldn't be beefed up to match their expectations of quality.

    For those that think StarCraft 2 is running on or is a direct modification of the WarCraft III engine then I have on question for you .... Do you know what an engine is?

    Both games show the resources at the top right corner! Thats one too many, I demand the resources are shown on the left, bottom corner.
