It would, however, be nice if they were usable in custom games in the world builder. They do already have a working model in the game for the reaver as we have seen it in screen shots. Hopefully we can use some of them in custom games, if not in the campaign or multiplayer. See! We can make everyone happy after all. :) So stop fighting...

It's probably just temporary. They changed the Siege Tank when we complained about it.
    So? Star Wars is cool.
I think that "energy" stuff is more for the Protoss. Giving the Thor physical projectiles gives it that Terran flavor
    Uh...what?
That is for balance. Why would you want to downgrade it anyway? To make it fly? I suppose...but that would bring up some balance issues. Suppose you wanted to get something that required one of the upgrades in the tech tree. You could just upgrade your CC and then downgrade it after you had built what you wanted. That would be bad. Am I making sense?
They could be overpowered in SC easily also. One word: air. They just require more skill now.
    They are the Nomads now.
THAT IS JUST TEMPORARY!! If you haven't noticed, most of the unit portraits are the same. This goes for the Protoss too. I think that the unit portraits aren't their top priority right now. ::)
That is rather sad. Just use the sensor towers to compensate.
That is for balance. If the Mothership were a superunit, then playing as the Protoss would just be a race to get the Mothership. Everything else (except probes and zealots) would be underused.
I agree with you 100% here. WE WANT THE REAVERS BACK!! PLEASE, BLIZZARD, PLEASE!
They run in slow motion...yeah it looks a little silly. But the non-stabbing motion is good. They are supposed to have psi-blades, not psi-daggers. I can only imagine how funny it would look for Zealots to stab in 3D. And not funny in a good way.
You're right. I like the old Archon a little bit better. They need to make the weapon beam thicker.
I have mixed feelings about this. I like the look of red Protoss and such, but I'm not sure if it really works for them. They are supposed to be all about blue and gold. They especially over-did the team color on some specific units...like the Twilight Archon, and the Pylon.
This has been confirmed. It is for balance. Everything has to have a weakness, right?
WOAH!!! SLOW DOWN!!! Don't be making complaints about units we haven't even seen the model for yet. This is a spamish bullet point. Do us all a favor, and actually wait to see the unit before you start complaining about it (like I'm sure people will)
I like every single protoss building. Why is it ugly? The protoss bases look gorgeous at this point. I love them.
The Mothership partially takes on the Arbitor's roll (cloaking) but it does not have recall. Warp-in replaces recall. The High Templar has the stasis crystal thingies, so bam! Replaced.
Yes, we are all aching for Zerg info.
I agree about the Zerglings. I don't mind that they look "weak" (because they are) but I don't like the little wings. They look more like locusts, not little Zerg puppies of death.

    That is my large opinion.

Terran God, you've basically taken every single thing that's changed from SC1 to SC2 and complained about it. If you don't like the game, no one's going to force you to play it.

They are probably going to make another model for the Carrier though. I think that the yellow Tempest is just temporary. Correct me if I'm wrong please, because I'm not 100% sure about this.

Oh of course, I'm all for that. It would be very nice to play some of the old/scrapped units in Custom Games, but I was referring to the Campaign and Standard Games, where those old units IMO have no place. I really do hope that Blizzard leaves the models for scrapped units in the game, since it would make Custom Games so much more varied.

I noticed that quite a few people still thought that the immortal can not attack air.  It has been confirmed at BlizzCon that the immortal does indeed have an air attack.

If the Immortals were infact, be able to attack air units at BlizzCon, I believe that mechanic would be axed now.
Karune has made a post about the Immortal issue on battlenet forum.

    http://www.battle.net/forums/thread.aspx?fn=sc2-general&t=9712&tmp=1#post9712

Based on that, I believe that the Immortals anti-air attack has been removed because of balance issue.

Terrangod im not trying to be mean but i would seriously consider removing a large portion of that quote before a mod does it for you.

As for your original while i agree with alot of your points ( a big one being the Mothership) i believe alot of them will be slowly fixed and tweaked for balnce and aestetics as blizzard releases more units and recieves more feedback.

EDIT: I just reread my post and i cant seem to type or spell today.

Terran god, it is against forum policy to quote excessivly like that without any substainal comments of your own. So LordKerwyn is right you should take it down or a mod will do it instead.

I think that most of his points have no real weight besides "I don't like because I think it looks stupid and the thor doesn't shoot enough lasers." They seem more like complaints than actual speculation arugements about what has been released so far.

Instead of just out right complaining, you should state things like "why don't you like it in the first place" "how could it be better" "how does it effect the gameplay and overall quality of the game?". I see none of that I just see and for a bit of a dramazation here... "lol I don't like SC2 cuz it looks gayz and the Thor doesn't shoot enough lazorz"

Thanks for the heads up on that Ych9, since I don't visit the battle-net forums myself.

Based on the BlizzCon reports from our own Meloku, immortals supposedly could attack air. I personally have always thought they wouldn't be able to attack air, from the gameplay demo's first showing all they way up to after BlizzCon. Even after Meloku gave his report on BlizzCon I still thought so because I read that part wrong at first, I only found out from other folks pointing it out. I've been trying to spread the correct info since, but if what you gather is indeed the truth, that is the irony of my life LOL.

Meloku said they could attack air, 10-Neon noted that he was surprised that they didn't.

I thought the Immortals could attack air but it would be more balanced if it attacked JUST ground plus Immortals seems to be more of a assisting unit/shield unit against heavy assault unit/defense units

The Viking's animation interface is still under construction so you see why they put the computer women's face in but i also thought it was a man they need to change it into more of a women

I thought it would be more cooler with the MS as a superunit but it's jut to make sure to make the game balanced i guess they can make the MS as a strong assisting unit that would be quite cool

The excuse of the Zergs are um....pointless really all we have to do is to wait for it to be announce properly like the Terrans while you're saying 'All we know about the Zergs now is that there are only Nydus Worms blah blah blah' it's really pointless to say these kind of things and obviously people don't like it if you start to moan about SC2 it's in construction
