It looks like the cobra will be used a lot for the fact that it is much cheaper than the tank. Plus, since it can attck while moving and has fast speed, you could use it to circle around melee units and still deal damage.

This will be very effective against the cracklings and zealot armies.

Unless the Zealots charge can catch up to the Cobra then they are doomed if they get encircled

35 dmg x 2 = 70 damage vs armored targets. That includes pretty much every single vehicle and non-zerg air unit. But then tanks do 100 damage against armored, which is incredibly high. Also this info is wrong on at least on part: the siege tank range. In a Q&A Karune mentioned the range of the siege tank has been increased to reduce overlap with the thor.

IMO charge is overrated. It will by no means allow zealots to close distance that fast. Even if the zealots get in a close enough range to charge, it'll be able to attack once, then the cobras will get farther away and eventually kill all the zealots, especially as their attacks now slow down enemy units.

When I said that I meant that Cobra has now the slowing attack.

i dont use the seige tank...
i use the rine + fb + med + vulture combo
    it works really well
also the 4 firebats and 20 medics works if you get the meds out of the way

mm +fb+ med + vulture will only work vs a limited combos of units like zerglings, or mass zealots.

The moment you face enemy siege tanks or high templar or reavers, or lurkers or ultralisks, or defilers + melee you're toast.

actually the cobra is just like the vulture was, only with a small role change, so it can also be a rusher unit, with taking out the early units of an enemy. (just like you can use vultures now :) )

Cobra slowing attack will work great with the longer siege tank attack, sieging your tanks prior to a Cobra raid which will draw units to attack the cobra while the cobra is attacking those units and slowing them down they will get barraged by the tanks.

You can use the Sensor tower to detect enemy armies so you can make this effective.
