how important is azeroth?

I think Aspects actually don't compare to Sargeras.

 

What about archimonde then?(aspect vs archimonde)

 

I thoughts all worlds were created at the same time, and tha Sargeras had to guard them? And what is this Prime Evil? Never saw a referral in any wiki article, so never read anything about it. :s

and all the world were creatred at the same time, but the titans form their surface and life one by one, meaning a few hundred years between the coming alive of each world

 

Archimonde might be stronger than a single Aspect, but I have no idea. Deathwing with Demon Soul would probably floor him though

I think Archimonde was a tad more powerful than we think. He literally flattened the strongest city on Azeroth, he destroyed the Orc, Human, and Night Elf last ditch effort with a mere wave of his hand. Supposedly, had he been able to absorb the World Tree, he would've rivaled Sargerus.

 

Even a big one, a city is stil a bunch of stones put together, probably any Eredar could do that even if it would take them more time and effort.
I still think he's likely stronger than Aspects, but Demon Soul is the combined strenght of four flights (not sure about blacks, but it was created from Neltharion's essence) and some demonic power as well.

You say that Archimonde destroyed orcs, elves and humans with a wave of his hand - source? I'd rather think he used demonic AND undead army for that as well

 

That city was Dalaran. I'm sure there was an insane amount of wards on it.

 

I think Archimonde is a pretty good leader and tactician in Battle of Mount Hyjal. As for his power, I think he surpass Sergaras after all, even Illidan possess the eye of Sergaras without any problem.

As for Importance of Azeroth, Evil need to spread all across the universe, evil hate good minority and will conquer the world with iron fist. Example? Look at Terran Dominion and Roman empire, for Dominion they will pressure the minority for their own good like what they did to Raynor. As for Roman, same like dominion, they are dictator like Julius Caesar which eventually stabbed by the senate. Warcraft are heavily influence by the Early years of Earth. So there's no diplomacy or democracy in those day. Only Iron Fist, War, and Monarchy.

 

fenix: there is no chance in hell archimonde would dare to ressist sargeras. when he and kil'jeaden easily entered azeroth during the first invasion sargeras couldn't even get his toe in the portal. they are all flies compared to sargeras.

 

About Dalaran: wards, like Fenix said. Only something with insane power can penetrate that much defensive power.

As for Archimone wiping those races out: that reffers to the bases they had near the World Tree, at the end of Warcraft 3. You can see Archimone just make a simple wave in the mini cut-scene, and the whole base he invades goes down. And even the Ancients of the Night Elves get instantly killed during that. -But you could make Treants and build at where the trees used to be. People exploit that by building Protectors there, which survive the scene. Almost the only way of beating the mission on hard mode.-
