If theres no air, what are you flapping undeneath your wings?

    Theres no gases in space.

    Hydrogen, LOTS OF IT

But its broken up and really light so it would be quite pointless :-\

But there is no hydrogen in space?

Yes, what do you think space is made of? Lots of loose, broken up molecules of hydrogen.

Theres traces of everything in space. There is just so little of it that it has almos no effect on anything

Yes, but 98% Hydrogen. (Where the hell do I know this from? :-X)

I think its also possible the overlords might 'shoot out' some gas to move forward.

All zerg air units use gas most probably for flight on a planet. The overlord might be a fat bag of zerg gas (not necessarely vespan) that floats due to the low density of the gas he stores. The guardian might as well have gas stored in those 2-3 lateral spines that look like wings. As for space - well basicly any object can fly in space as long as he can boost and turn. They only need to fart that gas once in a while and they get bouth speed and direction depending on where they fart from. They are liveing organisms - they can continuosly produce that gas and fart it as much as they want as long as they feed once in a while so they can keep produceing it.

mmm I still with my "Magneto" idea, from X-Men... using the Electric-Magnetic camp of the planets, with his powerful mental power

Riiightt... magneto had the power to control or create electro-magnetic fields but that is not something he necessarely made only by psihic power, but through dna mutations that probably gived him a new organ or a modified organ that could generate those. But for a creature - useing EM fields would make it dependent on the trajectory of those fields. Think about magnetic trains - they travel only on the magnetic rails, they cannot travel by their own will. It's pure physics. As for mind power - they might control zergs but mind has nothing to do with magnetism. And useing the magnetic field of a planet would only crush you on that planet if getting to close to it. I think the gas/floating organs system is much better. The closest thing to what you said is a system that would generate an inverted magnetic pulse that would negate the already existing one, but that is pure experimental theories and it's the basys for anti-grav sys. But maybe it could be used as an organic tech by the zergs.

the gaurdian floats in the upper atmosphere using the gasses up there.
the mutalisk flies lower and doesnt go into space just like the banshee

The mutalisk does go into space, it's in a lot of the cinematics. Also Blizzard said on their official page that "the mutalisk is able to move through the vacuum of space, although nobody knows how this is achieved" or something like that.

It could just be the gas needed to build them or they create their own gases? And Minerals are for carapace and hard skin thats what I'm guessing

Nope, the world the zerg were created on is made of lava/volcanoes and substances like that.

Most of the earth's CarbonDioxide ( Global Warming producer ) comes from volcanoes, so the planet where the zerg live would probally increase temperature so much that it turns into an uninhabital planet.

    IDK. XD

i agree that it is some type a gas propeling stuff and that would explain the space travel to becasue there no fiction or wind in space so one push would send them on there way forever until they saw a planet

ITs not much a problem as how they can fly... what i want too know is how they are capable of opening up wormholes?

I think only the overmind could do that.

I don't think the Overlord flies with gas, it's done with Psionic powers, the same as they use to control all of the Zerg on the battlefield. And as for the space travel, we know that they can fly in space and all that, but how do they breathe? I mean, come on. They actually DO breathe from time to time, you can hear it in their voices, and how would they be able to produce sound without lungs? You need air to pass through your mouth and stuff in order to make sounds...

Nah, I thought they stole that ability from the Xel' Naga long ago. They don't really need the Overmind to do it for them, they just need enough Psionic Power or something like that. Kerrigan should be able to do it with the help of a few Cerebrates...

What's even weirder is that mutalisks flap their wings in space to move, which should be impossible as there is no air in space, so it shouldn't be able to move by using its wings.

except when they release gas into space and flap in the gas, while they move the gas with psychich powers from the overlord
