It's simple aem1, the zerg swarm is infecting your browser.

I think the problem is that you must construct additional pylons

And yeah, I agree that Blizzard have been lazy with their official site. They really need to do something with ut, update it more often, give the fans something to talk about.

  7. It's an IP conflict problem. It has more to do with luck than the quality of your internet and has almost everything to do with where you live.

-- Nevermind. I see now that that post was aimed a particular post and not at the topic itself. Still, I'd say he either has a software problem or a hardware/OS problem.

Can someone who is able to get onto the starcraft2.com ping the website and post the IP address. Looks to me like a DNS problem which isn't local to your computer. I am also having problems getting onto the website from the UK.

starcraft2.com is resolving against 12.129.242.32 from here. I will assume the people who are able to get onto the site are resolving to a different IP address which means the DNS records are wrong... possibly an issue with UK global DNS if you're also based in the UK.

The people who are able to get onto the site. Could you go onto the site and press CTRL + F5 to force a refresh from server. This will indicate if the website is actually serving or if you're just seeing what you had cached on a previous visit.

    ---

In terms of a computer system AMD are the usual gamers choice so the spec I would personnally go with is below.

    AMD Phenom II X4 940 3GHz 6MB L3 Cache
    OCZ 8GB DDR3 1333MHz ReaperX Dual Channel
    ASUS HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI-E - Dual cards via SLI
3 Western Digital VelociRaptor 150GB Hard Drives SATA-300 10000rpm ( RAID5 for added speed and redundancy)
Motherboard needs to be high spec with good bus speed to match RAM and CPU otherwise everything will bottleneck on the motherboard

Thats what I'm running which out performs some of the 16 CPU servers I work on.

    Thanks

  16. AMD is no longer the gamer's choice for "budget" CPUs. Core 2 Duo's are better than anything AMD has for the same price range last time I checked.

well i wast thinking about going and getting the Intel Core i7 2.93gh processor,

    6gb of ram
1gb radeon x8750 or something like that for graphics
thinking about getting just a single 1tb sata-II 7500rpm for the. and i'd eather get this from dell or alienware.

Alienware is ****ing expensive if your buying from a canadian standpoint. you think its like 2500$ its closer to 3500$ at least dell offers free shipping and free **** sometimes when purchasing their products.

how are the Dell XPS 750i or what ever vs the Alienware area 51 X58? besides esthetics?

  18. Why not just buy the parts individually then build it yourself or take it to a local computer shop and have them put it together? You would get much higher quality parts (Although the same models) that will last longer for about half the price.

-- I recommend NewEgg.com if they ship to Canada.

i might just do that but where do you purchase a high quality motherboard and processor like the best intel core 2 quad process or the new Intel core i7 980? i know bestbuy doesn't sell the best graphics cards either. i was there yesturday and the best they had was like 300 bucks for a 512mb radeon x something. and i'm looking to get a 1gb radoeon or even a 2gb. and i dont want to have to have it shipped to canada with shipping and handling and the exchange rate the way it is because of how F uped the states are.

  20. Even if you get gimped horribly with the exchange rates and shipping, it's still many, many, many, many, many, many, many times cheaper than buying from Alienware/Dell.
