Heresy! DoW2>SC2

I don't really see people massing those mammoth tanks in C&C because they're horribly weak against missle infantry but I do have to agree that those tanks perform really good for its price so its always a favorite to build.

I have yet to try halo wars so I'm not really going to say much about this, but Halo Wars isn't the first game with lots of automated stuff so I'm not foreign to it, having automated features is great but not so great at the same time but what I'm saying is SC2 will need a bit more of it, not like 20 different types of unit command but just enough so you don't have to automatically do so much impractical micro'ing such as moving your range units to the back because their AI doesn't support letting melee go up front.

 

Halo wars automates most of the base building, the recourcing and research is extremely basic. And most important in combat: there is no need to position units well, since they seem to do all the moving everything by themselves after ordering an attack. I am a huge halo fan, but an even bigger rts fan, and halo wars just sucks.

 

Im pretty sure Blizzard set the standard for strat. They never milked anything (unlike 3 warhammer expantions).

 

BTW how you gonna compare a game thats not released? Brilliant.........

 

Depends on how much you already know about both games. What games are you reffering to?

Just read the first post for the first time, -topic was way offtopic when I first looked at this one- and that guy needs a facepalm from my foot. Seriously, not fanboy talk here, but that second post is exactly what I would say if I was a bit calmer right now.
