Hamachi server for Starcraft2forum.org

People in different hamachi channels won't be able to play with each other.

Is the channel full already or what? Last time I checked there were 3 of us.

I got mine just now but I can't play right now, so...

 

lol, my laptop died cant do anything either its in repair until the 27 =(

 

Online or joined to the channel? Because if the latter then I don't see a reason to panic about the channel being flooded Not many people know the program or trust it, and would prefer b.net or no multiplayer at all.

 

in the channel., hamachi is the best for virtual lans lol. This way we can play with all people even those ppl that decided to lose their cd and downloaded? XD

Just don't join for the sake of it.

Plus if you want to arrange a game and it is full just make another network :]

 

2 questions:
- What port do I need to allow traffic to pass through?
- How about some bloodshed tonight?

 

Network Connections > Advanced > Advanced Settings > Set Hamachi at the top

That should do it.

 

I'm behind a router... but never mind, I think I've found it.

 

Lets test if it works then. Get on Hamachi :]

 

@Zergalicious : Since it is not a premium account of Hamachi I got , it's 15 Max. but I never tought more than 15 people would be joining it anyway. I also taken your little tip on moving the virtual adapter to the top of the list and posted it in the first post. Hope you don't mind ^^

@Wlck742: You fire up Hamachi, you connect to the network I created, you fire up Starcraft-> Multiplayer -> UDP or IPX (you need to choose which one with you partner since you need to be using the same) I usualy choose UDP.
One of the 2 players creates a game and the other should be able to see it on his end. -> Doubleclick on the game -> Join -> have fun

@ kuvasz : It's sad that many people would like B.Net more espacially to play with friends, since it's less a hassle and there is no stat related to your account

@kuvasz : For you Port question Goto -> http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm, from there choose your router and go to Hamachi in the software list. Follow these instructions., I'll edit first post to add this. Thanks

Yeah I could've figured it out myself, it seems but I'll see if it works without tampering with the settings, seeing as how other games worked so far.

How about if anyone wants a Hamachi game, wait on the chat for a while so we don't do the whole, I sign on, 10 minutes go by, I leave, you sign on.
Or leave Hamachi on

 

Hamachi is started when I boot up and closes when I shutdown, I'm always available for a game .

But I'm really not good vs. players. :upset:

 

you're better at PvE in starcraft? ;D

 

@vodkachill you can change your nickname you know. just go to options or something, then click preference and then change your name. look around and play around with your hamachi. my last name used to be aaron, i changed it to ACe.

@kuvask, if the "host" creates a game and he has 2 networks. the two networks can see his game. so its better if one or two people only create games.

eg.
starcraft2forum.org network:
ACe
kuvask
gm_k
etc

starcraft2forum.org2 network
ACe
kurai
ifjie
lichking
etc


if i (ACe) created a game. everyone can see it. but if someone else creates a game, for example if kuvask creates a game, then lickking, ifjie and kurai cant see it.



so tahts what im saying, lets only have one or two people to create games if were gna do a big 4v4 game or something. and those people (the people creating the game) should make another server once this one fills up.

 

Oh, I see. Well since I have a 1mbit upload bandwidth, I don't mind being the host when I'm up for a game. And it's kuvasz

 

@meee : Ask kuvasz about my mad PvP Skillz, we played a game and he controled me from begining to the end. I had no option to move and he cliffed my only mineral source.... kuvasz is mean in pvp
