    I don't think I used the reaver much other than to do a reaver drop. although I will miss it I accept the colossus with open arms.

    without reaver, is that mean now toss have no long range unit ?

    Apart from the carrier, I don't think so. But deep down I'm hoping for the colossus to receive long range.

    i would like the collosus in with the reaver, the reaver taking a more general or siege role.

    either
    1. having the reaver have a special expensive scarab that teleports down cliffs (may overlap too much with collosus)
    2. having a special timed life probe built at the reaver that can be used to quickly get your resource line back on, with a life directly related to the reaver (as in the reaver can't move untill they time out) and each reaver has a build limit on them. This makes sense lore wise (as the reaver was used to manufacture mining drones) and i think would be an interesting gameplay mechanic.
    the best recovery from a reaver drop would be a reaver drop :)

    Whats the range on the warp ray? It took up the role of siege unit

    The warp ray currently has a range of 4 lol
    But it can attack while moving and will follow the target if it starts to move.

    as of right now none of the protoss units can attack outside the attack range of the enemy defenses.

    i know, right now im looking at it and all i get is its bad for the toss(not that i mind,i dont like toss that much, their cost drove me wild), but its to provide more race diversity which i like.

    The Protoss won't need a long range unit. They are powerful enough to take a it like a m . . . er . . . like a protoss.

    many have ocncern for this,there is a big chance they scraped it...
    but who knows,only time will tell..
    but my review of a reaver is for good sucidal ammo...good to decimate a large enemy fast...

    i hated the reaver, waist of space and minerals, i only built them to attack them for my own sick and twisted reasons!!!! lol jk, but still, i hope they all burn with fire

    i quote myself right now, because i made an mistake in that statement. i forgot about the Carrier that still can attack outside the enemy defenses. i forgot about it because i dont think about the Carrier that much at all. so the Protoss still indeed have one unit that can attack from that distant, just not a very much used one.

    how is it not an siege one? all it needs is to be able to attack from beyond the enemies defense.

    I cant believe that they would scrap the reaver, at least in Competitive bw, the reaver was a STAPLE PROTOSS UNIT, 90%+ of competitive broodwar matches that involved Protoss saw the reaver being used... ALMOST EVERY IF NOT EVERY PVP included reaver, almost every pvt included reaver, and one of the most famous pvz builds was sair/reaver.

    If they scrap the reaver they are taking out the unit that made Reach, Nal_Ra, Garimto, Grrr..., Best, and so many other players famous, without reaver theres no reaver micro, and without reaver micro its just not competitive starcraft :/

    They cant fukin remove the reaver, it would be like removing Ts siege tank.
