Goliaths...

B2 is just a bomber. No one aircraft is the best because they all fill different roles and all excel in those roles. Thats why we have so many different ones.

 

The Z-13 Muta can do everything, it's the best jet fighter that can even go into outer space.  It can even change into the Z-21 Devourer air superiority fighter or the Z-24 Guardian bomber.

Too bad they require otherworldly resources to manufacture.

Blizzard classifies muta as "tactical air unit" along with scout and wraith, this is pretty accurate as muta isn't much of an air superiority fighter in any sense. But devourer would be heavy air support I guess. That's what all the other air superiority fighters are really, air support, or "support air unit" in Blizzard's words.

Goliaths need better AI and smaller size so they dont push each othe 50% of the time...

Goliaths and dragoons were the "stupidest" units in the game

 

They've announced that the unit AI in starcraft II will be a lot better so the units won't run over each other. I liked that Goliaths were so much bigger than normal units, I think it would be too bad if they shrunk them down, and it looks like unit size won't be much of an issue as seen with some of the bigger units confirmed already, like the Immortals and Colossi.

 

It's also possible that Goliaths are being replaced by those new hover vehicles from the new screenshots.

Don't forget about the P-47 Arbiter. It's got seemingly magical powers that turn everything around it invisible, teleport units, and create a stasis field.

There's also the P-64 Carrier with its payload of up to 8 P-23 Interceptors.

they(blizzard bnet guy user) said its official although its subject to change(maybe only the look of the model or the name). anyway whats the goliath compared to these new uber cool units.

no, the guy that posted the pics on the blizz forum said that the thor was a terran superunit, and since only protoss get a superunit... i guess its not completely true.

i wanna see the size of a thor relative to other units, because it cant be that imposing if its just the size of a goliath.
