It seems to be an android ... but we don't know yet. Maybe a new character ?
About this green ghost I say it is not a normal ghost. It is a special ghost, a fruit from the gestalt project. I think there is only one example of him. We will not be able to train this green ghost in barracks.
This green ghost reminds me Samir Duran, his art work. There is the Dominion logo behind him, as there is the same logo behind this green ghost. It is probably a character too, a hero.
    We don't know yet !

How exactly do you come up with that theory with any sort of thinking mind jshep? Also I could ask you the same kind of question, show me a concept art of a REGULAR ghost in Starcraft 2. I don't want art or comparasion to any others in the series or in game art but concept art.

I'm still waiting for an actual argument instead of wild speculation and wishful thinking. Or are you gonna keep spouting the same ridiculous arugement over and over without thinking or taking what i say into consideration.

Also here is a in game art of the ghost in starcraft 2: http://ui29.gamespot.com/1148/ghost_2.jpg, looks pretty damn similar to me, has the armor, face mask, back pack etc, only difference is it is not as detailed but it has the same basic design.

Has anybody thought about that it's just a Ghost who's about to fire a Psi Round or something? I really don't see that much of a difference between the in game model and this one.

And pancakechef, please stop being such a ****. You disagree, we get it.

Sorry, it just frustrates me when he keeps saying the same thing over and over and feels like he isn't listening to me at all. Also I felt I was being provoked in one of his previous posts.

My comments weren't directed at anyone but Jshep and I would politely ask you to stop demanding things from me.

I was just messing with you man. :p
Like a friend of mine once said: if you are being provoked, then just shut up, and the other person will feel bad and stupid. Always felt like he had a good point with that. Nothing personal to anybody here. I just can't stand seeing people get angry over such trivial matters.

But again: perhaps that Ghost is just about to fire a Psi Round?

The woman is black is probably a spectre, but naturally there has been no confirmation.

Finally! I can finally tell Kimera that he's wrong. It was about time that I know something you don't :')

The Spectre has been confirmed as an upgrade in the Wings of Liberty campaign. You can see it on the screenshots of the upgrade screen. (I believe sclegacy has it lying around somewhere) I'd count that as confirming that women as a Spectre, simply because there's nothing that suggests she isn't

I knew about the upgrade (hell, that's in the link I provided); I was just saying there was no confirmation the woman in question was actually a spectre. (I guess I rate evidence differently; she could just be a ghost.)

She does look kind of like old StarCraft: Ghost spectre concept art.

That's basically what I meant. It's almost exactly the same, even the face mask shows almost no differences.

This should be the kind of questions being asked in the weekly q&a batches. Who cares for the recent things they have been asking. Tss. Oh well. I should probably get some sleep before becoming really grumpy. Will check back here later.

A Spectre from the project Shadow Blade, a Green Ghost from the Gestalt project (Terran-Protoss hybrid). That's why I defend the green ghost is not the basic ghost. Buy a hero, a weird hero if you wanna more about what I'm thinking about.

We'll see what in the final product.

The thing is sogeking there is NOTHING at all linking that concept art to the gestalt project. No where does it say the ghosts in the Gestalt project have a green color scheme. The only ghost we know about in the gestlat project looks nothing like that Starcraft 2 concept art. He is said to use a pistol and a protoss psi blade as well as have protoss appendages grafted onto him. It further says that those of the gestalt project are grafted with protoss parts and use psionic blades or other forms of Protoss weapons, and you see none of that in the concept art, it actually looks more like a regular version of a SC2 ghost with the armor, backpack, rifle, and psionic ability. The green is merely part of aesthics or the color scheme and the transpernies could easily be a cloaking field or one of the MANY abilities regular Terran ghost have.

I don't understand how you can beleive such speculation when there is nothing at all supporting it and there are plenty of things to support against it.

Another thing, why would Blizzard release such a spoiler in one of their early concept arts for the game? They hardly release art of the regular units why do you think they would be so eager to release something that important to the story and if they did why wouldn't they make it obivous?

I find it appalling that you guys think I'm the crazy one here when I'm the only one where with supporting information and common sense.

Also why is this thread in the other blizzard games sectiong when we are discussing a concept art from Starcraft 2? shouldn't it be in a Starcraft 2 section?

Because originally i didn't know it was a SC2 image. I just saw it on the blizzcon posters, and wasn't sure what it was until I saw it in the artwork when browsing through the starcraft 2 site after its update.
