    This would be a VERY useful ability for flanking, your main force attacks one side, you send a few drop pods at another once they are reasonably distracted. NOT at the same time.

    it would be funny if you dropped 8 ghosts = 48 marines to own their workers and some buildings... of course they'd have to be a bad player to not have some sort of defense near the minerals...

    It might not be that hard to drop pods on the mineral line even if there were defenses. Plus, 8 drop pods costs quite a lot of money. With that you could just build Thors, BCs, tanks, etc.

    I sure hope drop pods are able to crush infantry and workers that they fall on because just pushing them off to the side is retarded

    That would be pretty imba since you could just aim drop pods down at the units defending the base, and you'd have free kills, while your marines come out and mop up the rest. While it is true that drop pods will not be used in large enough numbers to kill enough units to make a difference by crushing, I think pushing them off is fine. Nothing as fancy as crushing units.

    Stun's a bit better, but unless you landed it on an Ultralisk or something of that magnitude, stun probably won't do much, seeing as 8 marines could take out 1 unit easily.

    I vote that we give the ghost a new ability:

    One Big Ass Rock Drop.

    I think the name is self explanatory.

    But a missile WOULD be cool... oh wait, that's a Nuke. Lol :D

    Why not a nuke with smaller blast radius that's smaller, does less damage, and is called a missle?

    the nukes in sc1 are "mini" nukes, real nukes would wipe out half the map.

    That was what I was thinking.. When I first started playing. Like, "OMG A NUKE OMG!! TERRAN GET NUKES!! I'M GOING TO PLAY TERRAN 24/7!! HAHAHAHAA!! NUCLEAR LUANCH DETECTED!! JUST YOU WAIT @!?%$ERS! WTF!! THAT IS SO SMALL AND THERE ARE STILL SOME STUFF LEFT OVER!!" The word nuke gave me some idea that it would take out whole bases and more.

    plus there isn't any left over radiation like normal nukes, the way it's implemented in sc1 it's actually more like a normal bomb

    no, a missile can carry a nuclear warhead, that what most icbm are armed with, a bomb is just a normal chemical explosive like TNT

    I don't get it, they have rpm and rpg, but no rpb. Lol.

    My bad I accidentally put rpm twice.
    rpm= rocket proppelled missle
    rpg= rocket propelled grenade
    rpb= rocket propelled bomb..
