Get Rid Of Uwe Boll

Man, this guy should be locked up for what he's doing. I'd call this a case of tax evasion or whatever it's called.

 

Unfortunatley this is all legal...In Poland its the same and the movies are even worst...

 

Half Life?! Hell no!
I agree with Mywifeforaiur. A movie about Half life would obviously not work. The game is about the feeling of being Gordon himself, thus the lack of speak for instance.

And he ruined movies like Doom. It could have been a lot better.

 

Hey guys, take a look at this: Uwe Boll, shut down by Blizzard.

From the page: "we will not sell the movie rights, not to you.... especially not to you."

 

That is like, so funny. We should also do a I <3 Blizzard contest because of that.

Sadly, the petition only has 224026 votes at the moment, which isn't nearly enough. However, that number is probably bigger then the number of people who actually watched his movies.

 

From what I've heard of him so far, as well as in that article, that's some very good news. However, I don't think that it's a good idea to make a WarCraft movie anyway. Whether it's done by Uwe Boll, Legendary Pictures or done purely by Blizzard, I don't think it's a good idea. Yes, they've shown that they care about it enough not to just sell the rights or anything, but that doesn't mean it will be a good movie. WarCraft is a game, and it should remain as a game. I've heard it's basically just going to be a regular movie (not based on the WarCraft storyline) set in Azeroth, or maybe Outlands as well, but if they do that, it may be a good movie, but it won't be true to the game. If they make it true to the game, then it won't be a good movie. It is just such a fine line at something they're completely inexperienced at doing, so I really don't think they should be going there at all.
