Fourth Race Theory

sc2 expansion. UED and XELNAGA new races. ^^

 

There is no reason for having a forth race, three do just fine.

 

just throwing this out there again. Since the Xel'Naga have been already shown to be defeatable by a n00b zerg army (in the lore), they're clearly not super powerful. They have weaknesses. It might be difficult to balance, but I trust blizzard will make the best game they can.

Also, the hybrids could just be the "super unit" for the Xel'Naga. I posted something a while back about how I thought the Xel'Naga should look if they had an army.

 

I just don't like the idea of bring the Xel'naga in. Makes things too confusing. and 4 races is asking for trouble...

They're bringing the race in story wise, but not playable, and it should stay that way.

Once again, its probably not going to be a whole race but individual units instead. Theres not enough different buildings and units to make another playable race.

 

That's possible, and I wouldn't mind it. It's kinda cool.

 

nah playing only 3 races for the expansionn or sc3 would be BORING. just imagine the UED race complete new units, buildings, mechanics, from the terran. and xelnaga would be great with their hybrids etc.

warhammer 40k has plenty of races and its nice.

 

I think the Hybrid will be xtremely strong against protoss and zerg but weak against terrans.

 

That is imbalanced, cause than they would be unbeatable with the 2 races, any you would be forced to play with terran. Blizzard makes the races have weaknesses, and strong points, so only the players skill will decide the result of a game

 

its like this lorewise and campaign the xelnaga and UED is poweful. but in multiplayer and skirmishes everything can be balance and the player with the better skill stills wins.

 

No!II mean only for campaign!Imagine one of the units to have 5000Shield and 11 HP,totally got pwned by terrans.^^Bcoz Hybrid is sort of opposite of terrans,so i think this is kinda good idea.
