Female protoss warriors

Amazons were archers mostly though weren't they. Not front line sword clashers. They were better suited for the role because of their dextarity.

 

Amazons were known for their ability with the bow and arrow and the spear.

They used stealth and hand-to-hand combat techniques.

They also were hot. I'd have a hard time killing a hot girl.........

I'd probably purposely miss and then she's jab out my entrails.

uh....if you say women just don't like war I don't think you've ever met a girl on her period. Seriously. I know a great many women who are so belligerent at times that I would not trust them anywhere near the U.S. nuclear stockpile.

--- anyways here is a point that i'm going to direct at WoW as well.
Naturally we'd think that were protoss women in the first place (based on humans being men + women) and the fact that they brought it up via BW.
The problem i have is that female aliens are supposed to be "feminine" in human terms. Not only does it look disturbing, i think it's disturbing enough to take away from the game.

Lets put it this way : Take a look at WoW. People asked "are their female taurens and orcs ?" Then look at what they actually look like. Dear lord!! The she-orcs look like human women wearing monster masks, and i'm surprised female bovines dont have some sort of udder (as opposed to 2 "feminine" mamaries). Most male gamers identify anything as female by having "rounder curves (2 particular ones), softer facial features, and generally a smaller body size).

Gears of Wars had a definate female monster (berzerker) that would be impossible to sex if it was not told. Perhaps the protoss dont make a big deal about gender (at least apperance).

You say that female aliens should look feminine. Not Protoss females. Protoss don't have visible external sex organs. If you didn't hear their voices/name/title, you'd have a hard time figuring out what her gender was. Orcs and Taurens are totally different. An orc is basically a human with green skin and Kirsten Dunst teeth. So female Protoss won't be disturbing at all.

 

Well, the matriach reminded me of a protoss Kerigan. Kind of. Even if she didn't have anything to seperate her from the men. Physicaly that is. How do they reproduce if they don't have that stuff anyway?

 

make the dark templars female... just replace the warp blade with a whip... it would be awesome.

 

I dont like the idea of a another female healer unit because in RTS thats what almost all female units do. and the protos are the only race that doesn't have a female unit since BW and no one knows were the MS is going so I hope they do add a female unit.

 

NO, i'm saying they dont have to, but seeing as how'd they'd most likely be given feminine proportions (citing WoW as an example of races we have seen as all-male earlier) it's going to look "goofy".

i agree, if there shuld be female protoss warriors they shuld have a femenin look(protoss style).
when you say femenin, most would think human type femenin.
mabye they would be something like this(generaly)
sleaker
stonger lower torso
weaker upper torso
difrent voice
taller
this might be the protoss verson of femenin

and realy, female dark templars would be realy cool.
what about a unit like this?

sounds good, maybe cloaking as other dark templars and more damage, since lashing out from the shadows, but otherwise it's good

In all likely hood the Protoss as they are a Race of Warriors uses both Female and Male Protoss in the War. This would make it a similar to approach to say that the Protoss Female and Male Warriors look Similar, but, not exactly alike. The point is if this was to be implemented in the desired idea such as aesthetically it would take double the capacity it already takes creating a different figure for each of these units. Thus SC2 would require a much higher processing level to process all the unit figures. Along with the Unit figures would come the new engine to pick randomly between each unit type. That aside it would add a more in-depth view of Starcraft. The thing about Starcraft we have to remember is that 1. We don't need to go so far in depth with it. For all we knew up until Raszagul the Protoss hatched from small eggs. 2. To create such a complex engine for one part of a game would throw the whole game into disarray, but, I do agree that it would be interesting to see aesthetic differences between Male and Female units for all the races, not, only the Protoss and I actually would like to see this implemented. Note* All races was for Terran and Protoss not Zerg. That would just be creepy. 8)

Regular Dark templars already are notorious assassins dealing huge amounts of damage. Double an ultralisk for crying out loud!!

Assassin style game play (like Blademaster -tech) is usually more annoying than cool.

 

female warriors are 2 scared....they fear everything...

if women only have that propose, then men dont have more then one either!
and some of the worlds most skilled fighter pilots are women, it is aculy 50/50 amongst the most skilled pilots.
and that needs some nerve, dontcha think?
women can be just as brave as men.

 

Well i hope blizzard will make a Female Protoss, so its fair with the Terran Dominion, right?
