Favorite pokemon GameBoy series game [poll]

I remember as a kid pokemon yellow was the shit. I never played it in a while or got to learn the new pokemon, except for mudkip. The mechanic of the pokemon games today seem boring and used too much.

i like ruby/saphire/ emerald cause they got most of my favs [METAGROSS!!] But overall there are way too many water type. I have lv 52 empolean and bronzong, lv 44 lucario and steelix. 6 or 7 badges, dont remember

All I need is Regigigas and then I have all the non-event legendaries.

...But I've yet to beat Ruby since my friend gave it to me. I wish I still had Sapphire somewhere. I know it's in my house, which is pretty aggrivating. And Emerald. That's somewhere too.
Pal Park with Fire Red is a blasty blast though.

Smooth. I'm transferring from Ruby right now. Gonna have Treecko tomorrow.
Basically I already transferred Combusken and 5 others that I want, then I'm transferring Treecko (more likely a Grovyle by tomorrow) and 5 others.

Then I'm playing through Ruby with a Mudkip, getting the Legendaries, and then taking a few weeks to transfer all the ones I want from that awesome profile.

Fire Red got boring. But I want those starters so...
