hello, the ps3 was the power of 8-9 computers. Only computers custom designed for games only built by computer geniuses. Only the most advanced super computers are even close enough to the ps3's power.

 

maybe a new type? I've stumbled upon an article on something called Arceus recently (some legendary pkmn from diamond / pearl). Apparently it can be of ANY type and there's even one MORE in the game code. Lemme look... ah, here's what it said:
"Also, just of note, in the games coding there is another Arceus for the type that no Pokémon belongs to and only one attack has. The ??? type which is used by Curse. It is unknown and unlikely if this Arceus form shall ever see the light of day:"

@kurai: yeah, it's mostly about spec, I think there was 'working' PS2 emulator which run at about 6 FPS. It was quite a while ago so maybe there's something better nowadays. The problem is that emulation is requiring process and you need computer with MUCH better specs than the machine you emulate. Actually if you look at some of the consoles spec's they are laughable compared to computers, but can run games that similar PC's can't. And that's not emulated, just games made for both console and PC, now when you add emulation to it... we won't be seeing much PS2 games on PC anytime soon

 

Well, eon, you coudl...like...hyper-upgrade a computer xD

It woudl be hard, but I think it would be able to be done if soemone has enough time and money! I'm countign on you, mr. enginger, to figure out how to do it!

Upgrading a computer to that power could costs hundreds of dollars, if not thousands.

 

yes, but you would also need a working emulator, I'm not sure if there are such already.

It's about twice, maybe three times mine, and mine's crap. But they are working very differently (and game producers don't have to bother with things like different graphics cards), so they make the most of their hardware.

@meee: And, yes, Arceaus is a scary pokemon. it can be equipped with these things called plates that change its type and its final move type. it's hard to get though. and i have no pateince to get it either.

All I know of emulation comes from the fact that I'm ever broke and had to manage somehow But I'm going to get PSP soon, hopefully

yea, it is 9 processros. which is why the games take so logn to make.

imagination on this forum is only good for sig, avy, and making great walls of words for lots of min that don't seem to go anywhere.

 

Yay walls of text that run around in an entertaining way but somehow never truly find a purpose in their roundabout flood on incomprehension. these posts seem to be common, spontaneosuly generating from the depths of a murky pool, the murky pool we call common sense, that also equates to insanity. whether these posts have any meaning is debatable, but one thing shall always remaione certian. These posts will always appear, regardless of where you are, and even if you try to stop them, some twit will lay something down like blueprints for some retarded caniption he or she claims to be intelligence.
